Hi! We are happy to share our yard with other dog owners in the area who are looking to give their dogs some responsible, safe, off-leash time. I know what it’s like to have a need for your dogs to be off leash, happily running free, but in a space without other, unknown dogs (or people)! Sometimes you’ve got a reactive pup, a dog who is in training, or just an elderly pup looking to gently romp. We are an animal loving family who wants your pup to have whatever they need to be happy and healthy and for you to enjoy their company. We’ve got a fully fenced in space for you to enjoy with your dog(s). One side of the space is our house exterior wall, two sides are 6 foot vinyl fencing with no visual distractions and one side is made up of 6 foot metal dog kennel panels which look out onto the rest of our family yard. There’s a hammock, and patio furniture that you are welcome to use. Sunscreen and bug spray provided as well. We also have a trash bin, pooper scooper, pick up bags, and hand sanitiser on hand to keep everything clean and tidy. Please feel free to be in touch with any questions you may have.

The pool is 12' x 24' and the depth ranges from 3' to 6'. This is a three tired backyard. The entrance has a small patio, the pool deck then an expansive lawn area below. Take advantage of the last bit of summer with a large fenced in back yard and lagoon pool! I am offering my yard and pool for those who have dogs that love agility and swimming! I have pet turf throughout the back yard which makes clean up a breeze! I do have 2 dogs of my own so please be sure to pick up after your dog. There is a hose located to the left of the stairs you can use for water if you pup needs a drink. When you enter the property, please go through the gate that is located between the shed and house. Sundays are blocked off for pool maintenance and cleaning. If my open availability does not work for you please send me a message. I have specific times blocked off and can open time slots if needed. I allow 2 adults per visit. Any additional adult is an added fee with the max of 4 total adults, please be sure to add them before booking. No children please. There are security cameras through out the property that are active when I am not home. *Pool rules* -Please help your dogs learn where the stairs are in the beginning of the visit this will help prevent scratching the walls of the pool. -If you have a dog that sheds a lot please brush them well before swimming, I work hard to keep the pool and pump clean and a overload of dog hair can cause significant damage. -There are dog toys through out the yard you are welcome to use please just remember to remove them from the pool after your visit. - Towels are not provided. - Smoking is not allowed in the yard, thank you for understanding. The pool is open!! Please remember - it needs to be added as an “extra” and there is a limit of 3 dogs in the pool for the longevity of our filter and pump :) There has been some confusion around booking the pool - you need to book the yard for at least as long as you book the yard. The yard blocks the spot on the calendar, not the pool. For example, if you book the yard for 90 minutes, the longest you can book the pool is 90 minutes (you can book the pool for less (e.g. 60 min or 30 min) if you prefer. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. There is also a kiddie pool for use. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Now for the Debbie Downer part - as the spot has gotten more popular, we are seeing things getting damaged and, as a result, have added a few rules. If you damage something, please let us know so we can address it. Things happen, so do not worry, we just need to know so we take care of it before the next guest. Pool rules: 1) No dogs on the pool furniture 2) Please do not prop the pool gate open Let us know if you have any questions! IMPORTANT - please note that we have audio and video surveillance in the yard. We are not listening to you….the surveillance is in place as documentation of the noise generated by the Spot to defend against neighbor statements of excessive noise.

Welcome to our spot! We have a big beautiful fully fenced in backyard with lots of features for pups to enjoy. Wide open grassy spaces, gentle hills, mossy areas, trees and bushes to explore, a small water feature, sunny and shady spots! We have a nice patio area with a variety of seating and tables. There is a hose for filling up dog bowls (please just ensure it is turned back off!). At the back of the yard, there is a gate leading out into woods/conservation area that can also be explored. If you bring kids, we have two playhouses with some toys inside, along with two slides in the middle of the yard. Just ask for the WiFi password! If you are visiting in the evening, we can turn on outdoor lights for you. We offer a small doggy pool and our fire pit as extras (based on availability, please send us a message if interested!). Park in our spacious driveway and access the spot through one of two easy to use gates (pull UP). We love our yard and use it frequently, but always try to have it ready for guests since we allow last minute bookings. We do our best to check it and clean up between guests, but sometimes time does not allow or we are not home. Please be sure to pick up after your dog (you can use the small trash can inside the spot or our trash bin in the driveway, but please be sure to tie bags closed first). Please return all toys to the crate before you leave. Our lawn is far from perfect, but please discourage digging or the disruption of gardens/plants. Please do not pick from the fruit trees and bushes that we have out back. If you notice a white residue on any of the fruit trees, this is an organic clay treatment (kaolin clay) that is completely harmless to humans and animals. If you notice any mushrooms that interest or concern you, please feel free to forage or throw them into the woods.
