Deb’s yard is a good size, well maintained and clean. She has toys and a water bowl available. Deb is very accommodating and welcoming. My dog and I had a great experience

The pups had a blast! And more importantly they ran so much they both passed out when they got home and had heavy snoring. Another excellent visit

Fabulous yard! Immaculately kept. I have a corgi and it was just the right size for us to have a good play. Lovely chat with the owner as well. Highly recommended.

The pups had a great time playing and running around. Deb was kind and turned the lights on for the dogs to play since it was dark. Highly recommend Deborah’s fully fenced in yard.

One of our favorite spots to go. Open and spacious to run and play.

This was our first Sniff Spot experience and it was perfect. I loved the Sniffers welcome sign and all of the amenities (poop bag barrel, water dish, plenty of toys, etc). The yard was clean and my pup had a blast!

Me and Daisy had so much fun! Clean, safe and plenty of toys! 🐶

    Lovely yard and host.

Deborah's yard was perfect for our dog Kylo to let out some energy! He had a ton of fun running around and playing with the toys that were there as well! We'll definitely be back!

Large Fenced in Yard with Some Woods to Explore

I have a large fenced in yard. It is chain link and 6ft tall. It is reinforced at the bottom. There is a woodsy area in the yard for dogs to explore as well. Lots of room to run! You may notice your dog spends most of his/her time sniffing around instead of running. This is typical for the first visit: 1. It is a new space for them and they get a lot of information through their nose 2. Lots of dogs have been in my yard so there is so much to smell. This is still great enrichment and will lead to a tired and fulfilled dog. Please bring your own dog toys, water, and water bowl. If your dog poops (even if in the woods), can you please pick it up? I have a dog that likes to eat poop - so gross! You may notice that sometimes my deck is gated off. I do this so that the visiting dogs aren't distracted by the sliding door, standing in front of it thinking they are there to come into the house instead of playing in the yard. You are more than welcome to take one of them down if you want to sit up on the deck. If I forget to put the gate up and you want to block your dog from coming up on the deck, feel free to put it on the stairs to block the entryway. Other things worth mentioning: - Depending on the weather and time of the year, parts of the yard may be icy and/or muddy! Brings towels to wipe down your dog afterwards. If you visit early spring, you may see ground bees flying around on the south facing side of the house. By late April, you won't even know they are there. They are very docile (in fact most species don't have stingers) and are great pollinators. - I also dog sit out of my home. Some dogs that I watch are vocal and may bark the whole time you are visiting. If your booking time is during a time that I am home, I can ensure that they are kept quiet and don’t interfere with your visit. If hearing barking coming from my house is something that will impact your visit, feel free to reach out to me beforehand to confirm whether or not I am dog sitting and/or will be home. If there is anything I can do to make this a more enjoyable experience, please message me with feedback :) Hope you have a great time! WINTER USE OF THE SPOT: We would like to keep the spot open as much as possible in the winter. Here are some guidelines for its use during the snow season. The City of Marlborough does not permit on street parking in the winter. This means you will need to park in our driveway. We make every attempt to plow, sand and salt it for safety but cannot always guarantee conditions. If we cannot get this done or do not feel it is safe for guests, we will close the spot during a storm or post storm for cleanup. We will assess this each morning and from time to time cancellations may occur. We do not use dog safe salt in the driveway, so please use a foot covering for your dog as you would in any public area if your dog is sensitive. In the spot no chemicals are used. The yard will have snow and we generally do not plow pathways unless the snow gets a foot or more deep.
