NEFFENDORF FARM (F2) RESTROOM, SHELTER, TOWELS, TOYS, PICNIC TABLES

This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and there families can enjoy it.

(Note: Bring boots and a rag. Currently muddy. There is a hose to wash off afterwards.) Relax with your pooch in a hidden valley away from street noise in our private dog park called The Dog-Out! Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. Coming Soon: a swing-set for the kids, more obstacles, more toys. Dogs are free to dig as much as they want! Our farm is 1/2 mile down a private drive. The Sniffspot is at our property entrance along our driveway. There’s a mini-Aussie that lives in the white house 500 ft away from the Sniffspot. Hello! This yard was made to be shared. A neighbor shared this site with me and I thought it was an amazing idea. While there are no pets here daily, I love sharing the backyard with my friends and their pets. I invite you and your pet(s) to enjoy your own private experience while in a peaceful Portland backyard. I am new here and open to any suggestions you might have. My hope is not only that you enjoy, but you come back.

We are located on 45 acres of private farm land. A wide path leads to the Clackamas River. The pasture isn’t fenced but is surrounded in blackberries and brush. Very private.

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres near Mt. Scott Creek: We are a private park about ten minutes from Clackamas Town Center. A fully enclosed (1 acre) field and hills with Mt Scott Creek meandering through the lower field (the creek is not fenced at both ends). The creek runs all year; the water level reduces in the summer, but there are locations where dogs can still completely submerge themselves and cool off on hot days. In the winter, the water level rises and turns into rushing torrents after a few days of heavy rain. The entire acreage is pesticide-free, making it safe and ideal for dog owners who enjoy playing hide and seek with their pets. Rainy boots are recommended that one section of the lower field can get wet and muddy in the winter on rainy days, otherwise the majority of the fields, especially the upper fields, are completely dry. Sniffin' Hours: Monday through Sunday: 8 am to 7 pm (Spring & Summer) 8 am to 4:30 pm (Autumn & Winter) Our two 5-year-old Doberman and mastiff mixes will be indoor for the entire duration of your visit. Fully fenced field with a few trees in front of our house. We also have a wooden picnic table for you to use in the field, and a faucet so you have access to fresh water for your pup. A portable toilet has been added near the parking area for your convenience.

My name is Shelby and I have three dogs of my own. We live in Wilsonville in a culdesac on a .225 acre lot, most of which is a beautifully landscaped yard. There’s a mixture of grass, beauty bark, and lots of plants, trees, and shrubs to sniff and explore in or around. During the summer, three large maple trees offer abundant shade and the yard faces east, so has afternoon shade from the house. Most of the patio and yard is shaded by the trees and there is also a covered patio area for rainy days, and a table, chairs, and bench for the humans. We have a small selection of dog toys available for your use, a dog kiddy pool that can be added as an extra in the warmer months, a pooper scooper and garbage for your use, as well as a hose for water. Poop bags can go in the large blue trash bin. Street parking is available immediately outside our driveway and the yard is accessed through a gate to the left of our garage. We have a 6-foot fence all the way around and between my parents’ min pin and our corgi puppies, no one has found a way out yet! We are within walking distance of Graham Oaks Nature Park if you wanted to take a walk before or after your Sniffspot reservation!

The trails are fenced in completely and a GREAT opportunity to practice recall and other off leash skills to prepare for future hikes with no boundaries(fencing). We are fully fenced and offer a mini trail system. You can find a long line by the water jug if you are just beginning recall training.

Working Filbert Orchard also known as hazelnuts. This 5 acres of trees is a unique place to explore or wander through Orchard rows. The property is 28 acres total, which you are welcome to explore, but the 5 acres south of the driveway (left as you enter) is exclusively for Sniffspot. The floor is very level, with some mouse and gopher holes, and is beautiful in the spring and summer. You are welcome to bring camp chairs, a propane fireplace, and hang out. Free throwing sticks are everywhere! Puppy play-dates and birthday parties welcome. We have Hipcampers on the property North (right) of the driveway. At the end of the driveway, we have hammocks available for the campers and you are welcome to snag one during your visit and relax. Return the hammock when you depart.
