Marissa's Private Dog Park In Pleasant Hill

Conveniently located 0.5 mile off I-235, we have a beautiful 1-acre wooded spot for our dog friends to run & play! It's a hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. It is fully fenced (4-ft chain link) with a private entry gate. Lots of open grass with some gentle hills and trees. There’s a concrete pad for off street parking next to the Little Free Library. The entry gate is located down a grass pathway from the parking area. A garbage can and extra pet waste bags are provided on site. There are even some toys and dog treats! Seating is located on site as well. There is no running water or restrooms on site so please plan accordingly! Also, please DO NOT SMOKE/VAPE or consume DRUGS/ALCOHOL while on the premises. We have a nice flat, fully grassed 1/4 backyard, that is also fully fenced. The owners are dog lovers without a dog. We would love to meet yours.

Just a reminder that no children are allowed on equipment at anytime to include swing-set, trampoline, hot tub, pool, agility items, etc. We hope you enjoy our yard as much as we do!! If there’s anything else we can do to accommodate please don’t hesitate to ask. We do have chickens and ducks. They are located in a closed pen inside the Sniffspot. Your dogs will not be able to physically get to them. We know they may be curious at first which is normal but please do not allow them to torment the flock. Our visitors use this as a great socialization/exposure opportunity with their dogs and we have never had any issues 🖤 Josh and BobbiJo 😎

Beautiful and diverse 1.5-acre plot in the heart of Des Moines! Less than 10 minutes south of downtown, this property has a large mowed backyard, wooded area, 1/3-acre native prairie and plenty of seating for the humans. The majority of the backyard is not fenced in… yet. However, there are two 70-ft ziplines for security with room to run. Come visit us for a change of environment or to get the zoomies out!
