This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and there families can enjoy it.

Hello! This yard was made to be shared. A neighbor shared this site with me and I thought it was an amazing idea. While there are no pets here daily, I love sharing the backyard with my friends and their pets. I invite you and your pet(s) to enjoy your own private experience while in a peaceful Portland backyard. I am new here and open to any suggestions you might have. My hope is not only that you enjoy, but you come back.

This is a nice private spot. It's only fenced in 3 sides so your pet must have good recall. Perfect spot for dogs in training. PLEASE PULL ALL THE WAY UP TO THE CHAIN TO PARK

Sapphire Point is an unfenced, private, 10 acres with excellent mountain views, hiking trails, and seasonal creek. This location provides your pup, and you, access to uninterrupted forest land with expansive mountain views and many fun new smells. The three primary trails are marked with pink ribbons and the property perimeter is marked with white ribbons for easy navigation. Hiking the slopes can be a workout for us humans, so let yourself rest at the different benches while your pup plays. You're invited to pack a little snack and make it part of your adventure.

Enter through right-side gate into tall grass and lots of dog sniffs! Inviting flower garden and patio area for you and your pup. Splash pad and sprinkler available upon request. Make yourself comfortable in a chair or hammock while your pup ventures around a safe and fully fenced area. Toys to tear up or toss around, and poop bags are available. With an acre of open space and play area, your canine companions can run free and unleash their inner joy. Whether your dog loves chasing balls, exploring new scents, playing ‘Pup of the Hill’, or simply lounging in the sun, or shade, we have something for every pup. Welcome to our Wooded Wonderland! Enjoy our private 2-acre unfenced backyard with plenty of room to play, run, and swim. Rock Creek runs through our property, so if your pup loves we to get wet or swim, this is the place to be. This is a family home with folks living in it. Depending on when you book, you’ll most likely see us in the house going about our business; you can see from the photos, the separation between our house and where you and your pup will be playing will give you ample privacy. During the rainy, cold winter months, this SniffSpot can get pretty muddy. Additionally, we don’t rake our leaves as they bring nutrients back into the soil as they break down. So, wear shoes that will keep your feet dry! The stairs and deck are off-limits at this time for everyone's safety. During the summertime, feel free to enjoy the abundance of wild blackberries and plums. If you're lucky, you may spot the bald eagles who nest on our property! Please note that our property is next to a busy road. But there is plenty of space to run and play that does not require you or your pup to be near it.

Our spot was designed and built specifically to help keep pets home. We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward to continue serving our mission to keep families together.
