Located 10 minutes north of Wellington. Full of mature trees and a mixed fruit orchard. Contains a small pond. Will have access to the orchard, as well as side field pictured in sky shot. A short drive to many local wineries and eateries if you’re looking for something to do after the walk

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    It’s a beautiful spot, but a little confusing. It feels awkward to close someone’s gate to their home and keep them stuck inside while we play in their yard, but it was out first use of a sniff spot! Thankful to them for opening their property for our pup!! This place has great potential to be both a dog run and their home as it’s so big!! They could just cut the grass in the orchard area. There is a separate gate in, and maybe some signage to tell folks - “off leash through this gate”, and they could have their own home space and still a huge fenced dog run area. Our pup loved the tall grass! Lots of space for sure!

    Great spot. Dogs had lots of fun and there was a lot of shade. Lots of room for play and I didn't have to worry about her getting on the road.

I have two pups of my own- a papillon and a corgi, so I know what it takes to exercise relentless little bugs. We fenced in our yard last year for them- thus creating, Bella and Charles place. It’s a place of ease, we don’t pooper scoop, there’s always toys outside, there is some seating in the warm months along with an umbrella (please close when done using). There’s a dog bowl outside as well, and the hose for fill in the warm months. We have a kiddie pool upon request in the warm months. We are also seconds away from the Millenium trail, where you can x-cntry ski, walk, four wheel etc. should you want to both play and walk your four legged friend. We do have gardens, please keep your furry friend from digging and munching (for my sake and your pups). Our fence is only 5ft high so if your dog can escape quite easily this may not be the place for them as we are a corner lot and the one road is quite busy. Our front door is fenced into the area so if we have to come or go you may see us very briefly. We have no extra parking but you can park on mill st at the church and walk over or park on the street on baker as it’s very quiet. Looking forward to hosting! Our pups are quite friendly so should you want a play session- feel free to reach out!
