Awesome giant field for our pup to have a reunion with her 4 brothers. Thanks for a perfect evening!!
Nice, spacious place for my dog to run.
A little confusing how to enter. You go through the big gate with the lock on it and then walk back to the dog area... and then we think we went in the right way but there was no actual gate to open. It was a really great location though! Perfect size field for the dogs to run and play in. And lots of sights, sounds and smells for them to be exposed to safely from the field. Will definitely return!
Beautiful! Nice amount of space!
A little confusing getting to the location. Small street, so be on the look out. Area very beautiful. My daughter and I went at dusk with 2 toddlers and 5 husky dogs. We were very ambitious, lol. It was a little chaotic and a minor mishap at the beginning but the visit went well once things settled. Our dogs are young (all under 1 year) and are friendly but super energetic and are still in the process of training.
The area has multiple gates, just make sure they are all closed before letting your dogs out.
The fencing is low, we had concern our huskies would leap over to make friends with the horses lol. We did keep their leashes on while in the play area just to make sure. It was their first time seeing horses. It was good stimulation for them to be exposed to other animals.
Our recommendation would be longer than 1 hour visit. The dogs had too much fun. Also our dogs didn't care about their brand new Kong squeaky tennis balls we brought and lost in the grass lol. Our gift to the next doggies as we could not find them.
Overall dogs had a blast, toddlers had a blast. Adults a bit frazzled but happy for exhausted little ones, furry and human. Thank you!!
We loved this spot! Great grassy field for the dogs to run around. You can see horses from the field but they do not have any attachments to the field fence. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
This place is perfect to bring your dogs and let them sniff/run around/play for a while. We brought two German Shepherds and a cattle dog and they had a blast. Another review mentions the gate being hard to open and possibly cutting you, but we had no issues and both gates were easy to open. The whole yard was very secure and we will absolutely be back. Our reservation was from 7am-8am and the gnats were pretty annoying but that’s just because of how early it was. Just bring bug spray if you come early or in the evening!
The dog field gate was a little difficult to figure out, both where the opening was and then opening it itself. Also be careful with the gate, as there are little chain link sharp edges sticking out (they got both me and my wife pretty good). The other dog on the property scared us at first because we weren’t expecting him/her, but was kept in an enclosure and ended up being no problem at all. As for the fencing 3/4 sides of the field were actually fully fenced. One of the long sides of the fencing was more of a horse stable fence than one to secure a dog inside. This fence had three slats and did have a fabric cover to try to keep it closed, but with the wind blowing the entire bottom of the fabric lifted around 2ft off the ground (any size could squeeze through- big, medium, or small). Because of the fence not being secured the way we expected (advertised as chain link) we did keep our Pup leashed the entire visit. Overall our dog had a blast though. This isn’t somewhere i’d say i’ll never be returning to, but i’ll definitely return with caution.
thank you athena for being so kind though!
Lots of space to run around! There wasn’t any water bowls (at least we didn’t see any); luckily we had our own travel bowls. My dogs had fun barking at the horses on the other part of the property. Good stimulation for mini Aussies!!
This a great place to take your reactive dogs ! The yard was big enough for my German Shepard to run and play .
A nice fenced location with a picnic table under a shade.
