Description

Welcome to our little farm! We are currently closed for the season; we're hoping to do some big projects in our garden, and therefore need to minimize foot and paw traffic 😔 I've scheduled to reopen in April, 2024. Check this page because we've got some exciting plans in store! ❣️ Your dog will love the large backyard with the hill that's perfect for loping up and down and sniffing all the exciting smells that come with country living- so many gophers, birds, and even deer make their appearance from time to time. We have goats, chickens and ducks in the pasture that backs up to the fenced yard, so your dog will get a lot of new experiences. You can relax on our deck listening to the fountain while your dog explores. I recommend this space for large dogs as there are some gaps in one of our gates; our Frenchie who crossed the rainbow bridge couldn't get through, but a more wily and writhe canine might be able to. We have a sweet and docile Great Pyrenees named Bosco who is not reactive, but if you prefer your dog to not have company, Bosco can hang out in the house or in his kennel. We're on a well, so we don't water the lawn in the summer to conserve water, so it can get a little dusty, but we do keep things mowed and trimmed. Our garden and yard is a work in progress- I'm currently focusing on adding drought tolerant native plants to work with my favorite blooms. There will be small changes in our retreat every time you visit (at least, that's my goal 😂) We hope your dog loves our Sniffspot!

Beautiful yard with lots of space for dogs to run around and explore. I was worried how my dog would react to seeing the chickens and goats on the other side of the fence, but he did didn’t bark or growl once. Perfect spot if you have a reactive dog or if you just want to bring your dog somewhere new to see and smell different things. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back!

We had a great time at this spot, and had a lot of fun running up and down the hill. One of our dogs just wanted to hang out with the goats the whole time. 😂

This was a wonderful experience for my dogs. The host was so nice and helpful! There was a lot of room for my young pups to run around and play, water, toys and a seating area set up by the host. Definitely coming back. ❤️

Lindsay was so sweet, provided cold waters, and responded in a very timely manner with any questions! The goats and chickens were also very friendly and curious, my dog and I both loved seeing and interacting with them. My senior pup had zoomies the entire visit. Highly recommend!!

Lindsay was an amazing host who graciously accommodated our visit. The property was great for the dogs with ample space to run, play & explore. Dogs also had an absolute blast going on “sniffaris” & there was plenty of water to keep them cool & hydrated. 10/10!! We will definitely be repeat customers. It was our first Sniffspot experience & it could not have been better. Big thank you to our host for everything. Just outstanding!!
