Our fenced play area stretches out over half an acre, offering plenty of room for fun and frolics. Beyond this, there’s over an acre of open land, surrounded by protective trees. While this larger expanse isn’t fenced, it’s perfect for those who feel comfortable letting their dogs roam a bit more freely. It's an ideal spot for epic games of fetch and ball throwing—our favorite way to spend the day with our furry friends. At Magz Spot, you’ll find cozy seating spots, lush fruit trees, a vibrant vegetable garden, and a sparkling swimming pool. Though the pool is chlorinated, don't fret; our own dogs take the plunge, and a quick hose-down afterward does the trick. It’s like a mini spa day! Our property is like a slice of cottage country—scenic and serene, perfect for adventure and relaxation. As you explore, you might catch a glimpse of some local wildlife like frogs, bunnies, coyotes, coywolves, or deer peeking from beyond the fence. It’s a real nature show! Approximately 2,000 square feet of grass, bushes, and three large trees which provide lots of shade. Wooden patio area is covered by a pergola; with patio table and chairs available for your comfort. There is shade in this area and protection from light rain. Also: Power source available on patio table to charge your personal devices.

Inspired by our beloved dog, Storm, who found his bliss in these very waters, we’ve created a sanctuary in his memory not just for him, but for all dogs who love to swim, play, and simply be the happiest versions of themselves. Nestled in the heart of our tranquil backyard, our pool offers a serene escape for dogs and their owners alike. Designed with love, it’s the perfect size for dogs of all breeds to swim comfortably and safely. The pool is equipped with easy-access steps. The deep end of the pool is approximately 5 feet deep and the shallowest part is approximately 3 feet deep. While your fur baby enjoys the pool, relax on our poolside loungers or on patio chairs shaded under an umbrella. Doggy lifejackets will not be available on site but it is recommended to bring your own. Please bring your own dog toys/balls and towels. Please note the pool is a chlorine pool. There is a hose available if you would like to rinse off your dog after swimming. We’d like to ask all visitors to please brush their pups before visiting the pool. It helps to manage the hair left over in the pool and for other guests experiences. Welcome to Durham Regions only Sniffspot with in ground salt water pool, and fully fenced 1 acre grass yard! 6 ft high privacy fence allowing your dog to zoom around the whole 1 acre backyard! 🤩 We absolutely love dogs, having 5 rescue dogs of our own, we know how tough it can be to find a safe and secure property for them to run and enjoy themselves! So we created our own little backyard heaven for them and would love to share it with others ! Whether it be your dog needs lots of space to run, or prefers to take it slow and sniff around, maybe they are a bit shy or reactive to other dogs/people, our backyard is the perfect space for them to relax, feel safe and explore on their own terms! Lakes in Ontario are often full of high levels of 🦠 bacteria, which can be harmful to pets, don’t risk it, stay safe by bringing them to the pool ☺️ Is it your pups birthday ?? We can set up a table for them for an extra $15 in “extras” - includes tablecloth, banner, dog treats and birthday hat 🎩 We can also accommodate “ Paw-ties”!! 🐾🥳. For up to 20 dogs! For cost please send us a message! We do have 5 rescue dogs, so you may hear some barking from inside, but there will be NO visible or personal contact from our dogs. Pool- if you would like to use the pool with your dog, we would be happy to have you come kick back and relax 😎 This is an additional fee per person per hour and must be booked in the “extra” section when booking in your dog(s) We will provide a towel and pool float for you! 🥰 4 people max, and for 2 hours max. (longer bookings can be accommodated for a fee) No children under 3 in the pool please. No alcohol permitted on the property. There is free street parking either on our street or the side street beside us ✨We don’t supply life jackets for dogs/humans. So if you or your pet is unsure about swimming it is recommended to bring one. ✨ We donate 10% of all profits to a dog rescue that is near and dear to our heart! They also take 22% off the top from us. We looked at a local kennel close to us with a pool, and seen they charge $20 for 20 minutes. So total it would be $60 for an hour. Plus there are lots of other dogs at the facility which doesn’t work well if you have a reactive dog. We on the other hand are 100% private just for you, and our prices are per hour not just 20 minutes. We wanted to price ourselves as fairly as we could to cover our cost, while still staying as cheap as we could for your pet! 🥰 Safety note- You are fully responsible and liable for your personal safety, your kids safety, and your dogs Safety while in the pool and/or on the property and by booking you acknowledged this and have agreed to this.
