After living the apartment life with dogs, I can understand how hard it is to find a safe and affordable place to let your dogs run loose and have fun! Our fully fenced in yard is available for your use, with plenty of sun, shade and small amenities to make your play safe and fun. Thanks for taking a look!

HOST NOTE

There are two small garden beds, next to the shed. One has herbs and the other has tomatoes and peppers, that does have chicken wire barrier. We collect our sticks, and pile them onto a portion of the back patio. The dogs are more than welcomed to play with them! Patio stones can be slightly uneven. Precautions - No toy is indestructable. Supervise your pet when using, small or broken parts can present a chocking hazard or internal blockage. Please utilize the toys that are appropriate for your dog's size

Our kiddie pool, hose and sprinkler are included with your reservation. Want to add extra fun? We will add floating ducks to the pool! (Small, handsized, durable plastic molded floating ducks.Precautions; No toy is indestructable. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a chocking hazard or internal blockage.)

Host Meet & Greet2 credits

When guests visit, it is self check-in and out, so the entire play session is non contact and private If you would like your dog(s) to have socialization, I can come out for a meet and greet. (No other dogs or people, just myself)

Recall/Long Leash Rental2 credits

Palomine Lines leashes available for rent. These are long leashes used for training, especially for recall, or to provide your dog with the space the explore safely in new areas. They are BioThane material all 5/8 inches in width. Three are available; One at 40ft length, and two at 15ft length

*All dogs must be vaccinated. Any new guests will need to provide proof of vaccinations or titer testing (that shows current immunity), via message, directly to the host, before the visit occurs. No dogs under the age of 6 months. This is to ensure guest's dog(s) and host's dogs remain safe and healthy. Thank you for your understanding on this implemented rule for this spot.

I am delighted to have you and your dog(s) enjoy this fully fenced in 3/4 acre yard! There are long open areas where doggo can run full speed chasing a ball. There is a concrete wall on one side of the property, woods covering the back and most of the side, and a tall fence on the front side, which creates a very private space. Also included is poop bags, water, and a poop scooper. No pesticides are used on this property. There is also plenty of room for parking multiple vehicles in the driveways. FYI- Chain-link fence is not tied down to the ground between posts, so a smaller dog may be able to push through underneath the fence. If you do not clean up after your dog, you will be blocked, so please pay attention to your dog! I hope you enjoy your stay at the property!

The Nature Nook Dog Retreat - Shelby Township

Almost a half an acre completely fenced-in yard (to the ground so even 5-lb dogs can’t escape) in a quiet neighborhood near 23 and Mound. Grass is kept short and natural. Never any poisonous pesticides or fertilizer used. All Natural! Seating and doggie pool available (request pool is emptied before leaving and not filled more than half or you can’t tip over to empty). No dogs in surrounding yards. Great for big and small dogs! Lots of trees and shrubbery to give you a private oasis. Please close the gate when leaving. Note: I bought my house with a large after one of my dogs was attacked at a dog park causing 2 surgeries and very expensive vet bills. Enjoy my yard with piece of mind.
