The yard was huge and there were some balls and rope toys available. My dog definitely enjoyed himself!

  • Hope T., Mar 18, 2023

Great space with a nice long run so the dogs can really get some speed going after balls

  • Bridget O., Mar 13, 2023

We had a great time at our first sniff spot house! My dog is a professional escaper and the gaps in the back of the fence (mentioned in the profile) would have been easy for him to get through so I was cautious to not let him roam near them. They’re not that big of gaps if you have a larger dog! The yard was spacious and had nice areas for my dog to explore.

  • Yasmine D., Mar 11, 2023

What a great spot! The yard was secure for our dog (45lbs) and there were so so so many great smells and sticks. Thank you for a great spot!

  • Dena K., Mar 10, 2023

Great property! Host is very communicative.

  • Morgan C., Mar 9, 2023

This spot was a great size but probably better suited for a larger dog than mine! There are a few gaps in the fence that mine could likely squeeze through but definitely not a larger dog. The only thing that would make it better otherwise is some comfortable seating!

Host replied: Hi Morgan, thanks for letting me know about this—I will go look for gaps under the fence and see what I can do. There are several comfortable chairs to sit in behind the shed.

Very easily accessible, had balls and toys for us to play with! It is a stunning spot with lots of room to run around and play. Also in a great location to grab a coffee at Lost Sock after. We will be back!

  • Stephanie S., Feb 26, 2023

We had a great visit! The site was clean and our dog, Duncan enjoyed sniffing and running around and we appreciated having the spot. As an FYI to prospective sniffspotters: the neighbors have a dog we could hear and see but the dog could not access the fenceline. We had a great time and will be back!

We had a great first visit.property is long and narrow, with open and wooded spots, great for us to practice recall from hidden spots, plus we were able to use terrain to hide puzzles for CCC training.there was some neighbor noise, but our dog was able to ignore.thanks Jennifer.

Our pups had a great time sniffing and running around! The yard was clean and had lots of places for the dogs to explore. Just make sure to do a tick check when you get home — we found quite a few, which is not surprising near the woods and with the weather we’ve had.

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A kiddie pool as an extra (May - September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table. If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in early spring when the temperatures warm up. There will always be a jug of fresh filtered water on the back steps for use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it on the left side of the door to the shed for discarding your poop bags. Please knot your poop bags and make sure the lid is closed tight. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. Toys can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin, keeping in mind to leave some clean toys for the next guest is case I am not home to clean them in between visits. Please place any toys that you used in the ruck sack hanging on the sunroom door handle across from the barbecue grill so I know which ones need to be cleaned. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys that were used. Please try to keep your dog from laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. In the winter, please try to keep your dog(s) from the flowerbeds that are on the perimeter of the yard in front of the fences. Those areas tend to get muddy in the winter months, but are full of flowers in the spring/summer. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.

*Important Update to this Sniffspot* We’ve recently entered a deal with One Leg Up, a local doggy daycare, where they will be renting out the yard from 10:30am-6:30pm on weekdays, 2:00pm-5:30pm on Saturdays, and 11am-2:30pm on Sunday for their playgroups. We realize this occupies a majority of the available time slots during the week and understand this causes an inconvenience to many of our wonderful clients and loyal members and for that we apologize. However, to make it up to everyone, we will be temporarily lowering our base price to $6/dog/hour and our member prices will be lowered as well until this deal with One Leg Up ends. Thank you for understanding! ***Featured on NBC & CNBC: https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/consumer/making-money-from-home-diy-dog-parks/3070501/ https://twitter.com/thenewsoncnbc/status/1565851648014131200 Follow and tag us on instagram @dog_on_tegridy and share your pictures on our Facebook page Dog on Tegridy We are conveniently located right off Exit 13 from the ICC (MD-200)! FULLY fenced Calm and quiet scenery Tall, mature trees in the yard provide more than enough shade on sunny summer days. PLENTY of parking available for big parties! Fire pit available for use (for bookings of at least one hour) Comfy lawn chairs added (7/22) Check out our reviews! Please feel free to take and post pictures of your visit. We have dogs of our own but keep them inside during bookings by default but you can request for them to come out and as long as somebody is home during your visit then we are more than happy to let Shiva, Loki, and Lilly out to play! We are always looking for ways to improve our Sniffspot to enhance the experience of our guests so if you have any recommendations then we would love to hear them!
