55We had a really great time visiting this sniff spot! The host had a very thoughtful table with supplies and snacks. Our dog had the best time running through the fields and stream on the nice day. We will definitely be coming back!
55Awesome host, great spot!
55We had another fun trip to this sniffspot! It was really muddy and squishy but the fabulous host even left a few towels that were greatly appreciated! The dogs had a blast and didn't mind the mud one bit! I very much appreciate the water, poo can, and human snack!
55Beautiful property and Brittany was so friendly and hospitable! We will definitely be back!
55Bo and I had a fantastic time! Brittany was very welcoming and had wonderful communication, the land was fantastic for running around and playing fetch and Bo loved the creek! 10/10 can’t wait to be back!
55We visited this new sniffspot after our regular spots weren't available and we will definitely be visiting again. We went after 2 days of rain the orchard side was a bit swampy in spots but it wasn't a big deal. The dogs had a blast running and chasing int he largely flat and open pastures available to adventure. Although it's December, they all took a dip in the creek (which was great to get some of the mud off). The creek and brush does provide a decent natural break from the road, but there was some pretty fast traffic on the road, so if your dog's recall isn't real solid, i'd probably consider using a long line for adventuring. There is a sportsman's club nearby and we heard a fair bit of gunshots, so just be aware that is a thing. Brittany, the host, was FABULOUS! I had car trouble on the way and since no one was scheduled after she was okay adjusting my time since i was very very late due to a flat. It's enough space for a pretty good exploration and will be on my rotation for when i can't make the drive to some larger spots.
55My dog had a blast! So many places to sniff & explore. The location was easy to find, Waze took me right to it. And there were little (human) treats that came in handy at the end of our visit. :) Host was super nice and responsive to messages. The natural barrier along the roads seemed safe to me! There are wooded hills behind the land, and I think a trail as I saw someone running, and there were 2 places that looked like a determined dog could maybe get over the barrier. I’d love to see this space in all the seasons so we will def be back!

Location

Description

This very private area has a natural dip from the main road that protects puppers from wandering into unknown territory. Two fields of 4 acres each are available for the sniff spot; one field has 7 baby apple trees and the other has a very large, flat area for the dogs to run. Feel free to park in the main house driveway and walk your dogs across the street to enjoy our little haven from city life. You should have both flea and tick medications up-to-date since deer and groundhogs often walk through the fields in the early morning and evening. Please bring your own water for the dogs, though a hose is available in the main house driveway as well. I hope you enjoy!

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

This is a working farm area and there is an open shed that I’m clearing out from the previous owners. There’s a lot of acreage away from the shed area, so please keep the pups in the open fields. The tall grass areas are where natural animal dens or dips/holes in the land occur. There is also a gun range on the other side of the mountain, so you may hear gunshots in the distance.

Extras

Foraging in the Fields$0

Feel free to forage along the creek! There are wild, black raspberries and blackberries in the summer, and there are black walnut fruit/seeds near the orchard area. In the center field, there is wild mint that grows along the creek edge. Feel free to explore the area and let me know if you find any other wild, fun discoveries!
