Description

Short mowed grass field under huge evergreen tree. Please note that as is typical for spring/summer in the valley, and because we don’t use any chemicals on our property, there are some foxtails and goatheads. We keep it mowed and weed whacked, but please check over your dog after your visit! New field and fence will be installed later this year. We require proof of your dog’s current vaccines prior to your visit, to ensure the health & safety of all our guests, as well as the health & safety our personal dogs and any dogs boarding with us. Training equipment & grooming table available upon special request. Dog treadmill, dog crates, and other amenities available upon request.

Some uneven spots due to gopher activity. Gopher traps may be set but will be removed or ex penned off prior to arrival.

You (& your dog) will meet me, and we’ll take the time to go over how boarding or daycare works in our household, and how we can accommodate your dog’s needs! No breed restrictions, and we do not require dogs to be social with dogs or people.

Dog Treadmill / Dog Slat Mill$15

Use of indoor Dog Pacer treadmill or Dog Trotter slat mill. Your dog will need a Y front harness with a back clip for the Dog Trotter, or wide 2”+ collar for the Dog Pacer. We do have harnesses & collars available for loan - please message with your dog’s weight and chest & neck measurements. Please ensure that your dog has pottied prior to use, and wipe down with provided supplies after use.

Booking Policies
Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    Host was very accommodating and the field is spacious! Perfect area to practice some commands, and let her run and play. There is a partial dividing fence, made of metal wire, that your dog could maneuver out of if they’re prone to running / escape artist, but they would just be escaping into a secured location of the property. So possibly inconvenient but not unsafe! We will definitely be going back!

Once Upon A Happy Farm is a fully fenced Farm. We provide pet stays without the trauma of a commercial boarding facility. We have a 3 acre fenced pasture with extra large shade structure for pets and parents. No need to worry about water for thirsty doggies there is an on demand trough for them. It's a great place for a doggy play date with friends on the farm. All income generated off our spot will go towards charities. Currently, we are donating to a children's school in Soweto, Africa. We have visited this school, the children and families are such in need. Thank you for helping us make the world a better place, one reservation at a time!!!! Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person. Last month we were able to buy a bed, blankets for a desperate family in need in Africa from Sniffspot earnings. Please see photos :)

We have two fully fenced play yards that are used durning the the week for our doggy daycare. We offer two fenced in yards one for small dogs and one for big dog. The small yard is over 2000sqft and the big yard is over 4000sqft. Because this is a place of business, there will be either a staff member or volunteer manning the office and to help facilitate your SniffSpot experience. We also have a dog that lives here are our facility, her name is Luna. Luna will be kenneled by the office and will not have access to the play yards while in use. Our yards are cleaned and sanitized at the end of the day. When booking please specify which play yard your are wanting to book.
