Description

Large grass fields, tall and mowed, with rolling hills leading down to our private pond. A few trails that guide you around the perimeter of our property through wooded areas and a small private campground. We have an older Doberman “Joker” who loves to run around. He will be put up while you are here. Come check us out! Fishing is available as well if you decide to bring your poles! The pond is stocked but over populated with small bass. HAVE FUN!!

HOST NOTE

We have a stocked pond that can be a drowning hazard so please be careful. It also goes through cycles throughout the year with moss, weeds, and algae. We normally combat these with animal friendly chemicals that keep the water clean/clear. Always use caution and educate yourself on blue green algae and do not let your dog drink the water if you suspect it in our pond. Note: we have never had any, but that doesn't mean it cant pop up.

My Wife and I are in our 30's with a new born on the way soon! We live on a family compound but our portion is 10 acres split from the rest of the family who live next to us. We have an older red doberman who is very friendly with people and very curious with other dogs. Has always been friendly but will investigate newcomers if he is out and about while visitors are around. We ensure he is inside when guests come and only let him out if prior discussed with guests. You will have full privacy if requested. Hope you enjoy your stay. ( We have fishing as well but ask for tips if you decide to )

Park Like Backyard Great for Fetch and Running Around

Our backyard is on a fenced in double lot with lots of room to run and play. Heavily wooded and backs up to a ravine. One thing to note: Our gate to the backyard opens up to our steps to the house (you can see this in the photos) and it can be trickier to navigate if you have a mobility aide. My wife and I work from home and either of us would be happy to assist in accessing the yard if needed. We have one camera mounted to the back of the house that does not see past the deck. This is to check on our pup, Maisie, when she roams the yard in between SniffSpots.
