Gorgeous space! We need a safe space for our two dogs to run around and this is perfect. On the hill— so for Capitol Hill people that need a private park this meets the mark. Thanks for sharing, Julie!
A lovely spot with plenty of trees and bushes near the cemetery. Julie was flexible and responded quickly when we rescheduled from the rain. We had a great time.
Good spot to play fetch. It is a little tight but enough room particularly when it’s hot. There are gaps in the fence. My 75 lb lab was able to get through them to chase after the ball when it went through the fence.
We had a short visit on a super hot sunny day. The host was so accommodating and responsive. Mosquito repellent (much needed) and water was provided. If your pup is particular with water, bring your own if easier! There were sediments in the water from the hose (and I couldn't get the nozzle to work in a way I could hose her down from the heat, but likely a user error on my part). Gaps in fencing (as disclosed by host) may be a challenge for smaller doggos especially with the property a corner lot by the sidewalk (depends on your doggo!). We did inform the host of the side gate which doesn't close/latch and it was unfortunately left open (I should've checked before letting her off leash once we were inside the front gate). We had a minor hiccup running into the adjacent neighbor's dog. Julie is aware and noted it for future. Definitely check the entire space before letting your pup off leash. A wonderful location for locals and visitors alike!
Shaded & well-Maintained backyard
My dogs loved this spot! Great for a large city dog to get zoomies out. Definitely mosquito central so grab the complimentary bug spray immediately upon entry. My dogs had an absolute blast!
Great yard for playing and so many plants and trees for my pup to check out. It was slightly buggy but the host had bug spray already out for us which was so helpful.
Unfortunately, we were rained out both attempts, but can’t wait to check it out next time! So glad to have it in the neighborhood.
Beautiful, quiet spot, with easy parking! My dogs enjoyed sniffing and romping around!
This spot is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city! My pups loved it! They loved all the smell of the assortment of plants. The only draw back were the gaps fencing (fully disclosed by the owner). My pups are medium size and one likes to make a run for it. If this is not an issue for your dog, then this is the best spot and very convenient if you live in the city.
