Hello! We can now offer private parking in our driveway! Our property is located on a steep, one lane, dead-end winding road. You will end up in our driveway. Please park in front of the Sniffspot sign located on the left garage door. The arrow will lead you down some stone steps to a metal gate. Please use caution when walking down the steps, they can be muddy and slippery from the fallen wet leaves. Our spot is mostly naturalized, hilly, muddy, and pretty rugged so please wear appropriate shoes and watch your step. We hope to have you as a guest soon! 😊

Visit our family-friendly sniff spot in the lovely West Slope neighborhood! This space is great for all types of dogs and is perfect for owners who want to relax, play or train. Our spot offers a large area of open grass (mud patches if wet) ideal for running or playing fetch. We have a large trampoline that you may use but please, no dogs allowed on it. Our tiny home is available exclusively to guests! Stay warm, dry, and comfortable with complimentary hot/cold drinks, human snacks and private seating throughout your booking. Reserved parking available right at the entrance for maximum convenience.

Welcome to Green Acres Homestead! Discover acres of adventure on our fully fenced pasture, complete with a seasonal creek and a peaceful pond—perfect for dogs to run, splash, and explore. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (A dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Important: Please keep an eye out for sniff spot signs and follow them carefully to reach the designated play area. You are encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway infront of the fence. Reality alert: Most folks already understand this and really enjoy bringing their dog here to play but for those that may not be as familiar we really want to make sure that you understand the environment that you will experience when you come to our sniff spot. It is very likely that the following could occur: 1)Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility 2)See a farmer working 3)See livestock share a fence line (Yes you can say hello to them) 4)Find mud in the wet season, no creek in the dry season 5)Alge in the pond when the water is not flowing and weeds in the field 6)We work towards keeping the main area of the field free of blackberries and weeds that poke by mowing but do not guarantee a weed free environment 7)The creek and pond are spring fed but there is always a chance of picking something up in nature 8)Your dog is welcome to dig and carry sticks and rocks. Be aware there may be holes, sticks or rocks 9)There is a dock that has no problem supporting my family on the pond but makes no promise to support anyone. You are welcome to use it but understand that is at your own risk and judgment. 10)The pond has gradual sloping sides on over half the pond but there are sections where it is steep. 11)We really don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place like we, do but also don't want people to expect something that is maybe not a reality. We've got two chiweenies who can get around easily in our large backyard. It's fully fenced on all 4 sides, and there is seating for up to 5 people. Dogs can enjoy running on the grass, laying in the sun, and sniffing all the flowers.

Walking sticks are provided at each trail head for those guests who desire to use them. Signage to guide you for easy access in and out. Upper and lower parking areas for multiple cars. A large shaded area with multiple picnic tables for large group gatherings. (Porta Potty)for humans A large mowed areas to throw a ball or Frisbee. Golf Frisbee catchers, with an assortment of putter, Mid range and long range frisbees. A Water World play area that includes a man made pond. The pond has an easy access area in with a slope into the water for young and senior pups. A small water craft selection, which includes a John boat, two varieties of kayaks and a paddle boat . A selection of different size life Jackets for pups and humans. A bulletin board with a sample display of a Blue Green Algae test kit that can be purchased on Amazon. An area next to it where guests who do the tests can post the day, time and results for other pup owners to see. An array of pup towels to dry off dry off with and a “Solar Powered Drying line to hang them on. There are multiple large shaded sitting areas to relax, take a breath and simply enjoy the piece and serenity of this magical little hidden valley. A 10’x 10’ sand filled “Pup Dig Box” for those pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who just like a really good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers for your convenience. We want to give you an easy opportunity to pick up and deposit your pups 🐶 poop. Comprehensive Obstacle Course. There are multiple Toy stations with a large variety of toys to select from (If you have any unused toys, please consider donating them for our pup guest to enjoy.) This year and next we have a number of things that we will developing to add to what makes us a Dog Disney Land. The Dog Dock Diving Ramp is now half complete and we are told that the National Grand Champion who can jump 45 feet will be visiting us. The picnic area and parking area has been expanded to accommodate an increase in the number of Birthday parties, pup groups, and family gatherings, all of which are such a delight for us to see. We have noticed an up tic of young children that are now accompanying their pup and parents, so we have started the development of a play area for their enjoyment. Down the road and going across the bridge to the urban agility course under development, you can look down and see a land ramp down to a little shallow play area for pups to safely acclimate to playing in water Continued development of our assortment of main trails and the smaller loop trails have been moving forward and provide an excellent alternative to the water park area during our monsoon season.
