North Star Ranch Private Dog Park In Archer

Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Please bring your own water, snacks, poo bags. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much recommended. We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are rare. Mosquito cream is available during summer months at the gate. We recommend you use it. There is a 20 liter canister of water for dogs available at the picnic table along with a black rubber bowl. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are grown over. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoy lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic areas. There is some agility equipment available at your discretion. Please use it wisely and look out for your pet’s safety first. Wilderness warning! ⚠️ Snakes have been spotted at the ranch several times. Our dogs run through the ranch daily, so wildlife is used to human and canine presence. This was their home before we enclosed it, so we respect their presence and move around them if we spot them. To this date we haven’t had any negative experience with the wildlife, and we surely want to see you stay safe as well. Keep your eyes open if you veer off the main paths, and have some treats in your pocket to help call your dog back to you in case of a snake sighting. The sightings definitely drop off in the colder months. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do! Our dogs absolutely love it and we lovingly nicknamed this place our “sanity ranch”. Enjoy!

While this is an urban location and normal neighborhood sounds may be present dogs are not forced into close encounters and guests are intentionally left alone during their visit. This space works especially well for dogs who need freedom without pressure. 🧸 Toy Use and Power Chewer Notes Toys are provided as a complimentary bonus for enrichment and enjoyment. Availability may vary. Important clarification The two item limit applies only to fetch balls such as tennis balls rubber balls and Chuck It style balls. This is not a limit on all toys. Other toys are welcome for use as available. We also provide a clearly marked Power Chewer Ugly Toy Bin. If your dog is a strong or destructive chewer please use toys from this bin only. These toys are designated for heavy use and damage is expected. If a non Ugly Bin toy is damaged beyond normal wear a replacement fee may be requested to cover the cost of the toy. We do our best to keep toys and bowls clean between guests. To ensure you always have a clean water bowl even if we are not immediately available a sponge and Dawn Powerwash are located next to the refillable bowl for guest use if needed. Welcome to our Ocala Oasis! We have over an acre of shady grass to play and explore on! With our two fully fenced areas in the back separated by a gate this is the ideal place for new friendships as you can meet through the fence and then open the gate to play together when you’re ready. We have no farm animals ourselves but our neighbors do so this is another great way to temperament test your dog if you’re considering the farm life. We have a tortoise that lives on the side of the house which is blocked by the black gate. We have chairs and a bird feeder to relax by, multiple hoses to cool off the pups with water from our well. Fully fenced with chain link and with cattle panels in back. Very small dogs may be able to get out front gate so middle section has been modified so that our 5 pound dog cannot escape so it’s best for tiny pups. Owner of property is veterinary technician so all precautions have been taken. See you soon!

Welcome to Feathered Fields! We are a family run farm with almost 6 acres of lush field for your pups to run and play. As a newly established “venue” we welcome feedback and ideas to expand on a comfortable, safe and fun experience for you and your pets! Currently we do not have electricity or water access on the field so we encourage all guests to bring proper hydration for your pets. Poop bags and a trash can are provided (see photos) but all guests are encouraged to provide their own supplies of course, if possible. Designated parking area for guests will be marked with RESERVED signs and a temporary key code will be assigned to guests for accessing the field during their allotted time. Feel free to bring your pups’ favorite toys! Firearms and live fires are not permitted on the property at any time! If desired, guests can bring chairs or sit back on the logs in the field and enjoy the sun while your pups have the time of their lives! Our property frequents deer so I’m sure they will enjoy the sniffortunities around the field!

We've got a pool for pups who love to swim (with an extra cost), and owners can relax in the loungers and comfortable seating. For your convenience, we provide waste bags, and water bowls. We strive to keep everything clean and safe for both you and your pup to enjoy a fun, relaxing time together! A Note About Pool Use: To help us maintain the pool and avoid future closures for repairs, we kindly ask all pet owners to rinse their dogs off from dirt and debris before allowing them to swim. This is required, as the accumulation of dirt and dog hair can cause damage to the pool, leading to increased maintenance costs and potential closures. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep the spot enjoyable for everyone! Our convenient cul-de-sac location offers ample parking, making drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Enter through either fenced entrance and relax with plenty of seating while your pup explores!
