Winter: - We snowplow trails for ease of accessing and walking through the park. Spring/Summer we offer: - A kiddie pool so your pups can cool down! There is a fence around the kiddie pool in case you decide you'd like to keep your pups' paws dry. - We maintain the grass at a reasonably short level. - Drinking water for the pups and a bowl. - Sunscreen and bug spray. Please note: The fencing is 4 feet high at its lowest point, with wire fencing suitable for most dogs! Very small dogs may be able to sneak through the wire. The park is in a country neighbourhood where there are other animals, such as dogs, horses or cats, that may be seen or heard from the park. It’s approximately a 1/2 mile long from the old green shop parking area to the end of the big top pasture. The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) is all on the outside perimeter, the only open spot is the 2 front gates. But recall is good to have as I don’t completely trust fences as I’ve seen some pretty good escape artists get over much higher wooden fences. There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. We hope you will consider us for your dogs exercise needs, and are looking forward to having you explore our private ranch pasture. 🐾 🐾

Better Than Home 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Sherwood Park

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Barbwire fenced, country setting, 25+ acre parcel. Plenty of trails, hills, short and tall grass, and open fields. Private dog park at your convenience. We do run a Boarding Kennel. There is a chance when parking, that’s there may be dogs in our large yard, behind a fence. We recommend keeping your dog on leash for about 1 or 2 mins of your walk into the off leash area, if you have a reactive dog. We will however try our best to work around our sniff spot guests as well.
