It’s a spacious yard for any apartment residents who would like to let their baby run around off-leash! I don’t have any dogs, the yard is street facing but there usually isn’t much traffic.

**FYI: Starting March 23, our spot will be temporarily closed for 3-4 weeks for some all-natural lawn maintenance/recovery. After we open again, our hourly rate will slowly increase (about $1 per month) until we hit $10 during peak summer months. But we also plan to add some new amenities, such as a shade canopy.** Let your dog run free in our backyard that has a wooden privacy fence. They can also play or lounge under the shade of our large weeping willow tree. The lower deck has 3 lawn chairs, and the upper deck (accessible via stairs in the backyard) has 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table with 4 chairs. Use of shed in backyard is not an option (it will be locked). There is easy free street parking in our cul-de-sac. If your dog (or child) wants to use the toddler slide, feel free to pull it out onto the grass. If you would like me to make the box of children's toys available during your visit (for no extra charge), please select that option in the Extras section of your reservation. Note 1: When walking between your vehicle and the gate to our backyard, there may sometimes be other people or dogs on the street/sidewalk or in their front yards. Or there may sometimes be someone from our household leaving or arriving home (which involves walking between the front door and a car in our driveway). So please keep your dog on leash until you are inside the backyard with the gate closed (per standard SniffSpot rules). Note 2: If you would like to reserve a particular day/time that is not currently shown as available (especially if it is more than 30 days from now), please send me (the host) a chat message to find out if I can make it available for you. This yard has always been a special place for our family. Our dog loved racing through the grass here, full of energy and joy. After saying goodbye, my wife and I wanted to open the space to other dogs so they could enjoy it just as much as he did. Our large, fully fenced yard offers plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore safely. The 7-foot wooden fence keeps everything secure, perfect for off-leash play or reactive pups who need a little extra space. The yard features lush grass with mulch beds beneath mature trees, giving your dog both open sunshine and cool shade to enjoy. There’s a seating area with table and chairs, balls for playtime, and access to a hose and electrical outlet for your convenience. Off-street parking makes arrival easy and stress-free. Set in a quiet suburban neighborhood, just a short drive from Alexandria, Arlington and Washington DC. This is a peaceful spot to unwind, train, be off-leash and let your dog be a dog. We hope your pup feels right at home here. In the fall the yard gets covered in leaves. I do my best to keep them tidy, but they seem to have their own plans. Our dog used to love racing through the piles, and most pups enjoy the extra smells and crunch — hopefully yours does too.

Welcome to my little working farm! This is a lovely spot to unwind with your pup after work, or in the morning or afternoons. My property does have 3 horses, who are used to my dogs but not yours, so please make sure your pooch has impeccable recall if you let them off leash. I have a lovely gazebo and ample seating to take a break after a good run around. Eagles and hawks and wildlife abound! Enjoy some quality time with your furry friends often!
