River Arts Private Dog Park

A large pasture with fencing around everywhere except the top of the creek crossing running behind it. Bring a towel and enjoy! The bugs are back so a head screen or bug spray might make you more comfortable. Chairs and tables and sometimes a hammock provided creekside! Please do not bring more dogs than you have made your reservation for. If something changes please contact customer service and they can add dogs to your current reservation. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s been designed for complete privacy for you and your pets. No drive by traffic no people walking by, just you and your kids on 4 flat acres. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoy off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fence to the left of the Gazbo. Look for a multicolored spinner on the ground. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, hammock and umbrella, are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided and even a game of horse shoes for humans! I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport! I do not offer memberships as I would have to raise my prices for everyone in order to make it work. My goal for these spots is to be available for all dog owners who need it. I do have clients that book a month out at a time in order to get the time they would like. Fully fenced yard in NW Asheville with beautiful forested views! The lawn is sloped with short grass. Cattle fence has mesh wire all the way around. There are very small gaps at the gates (pictured) but my 25lb dog cannot fit through them. Please use only the side of the yard at the front of the house (to your left from the driveway). It is fenced separately from the back yard. There is a spigot for water and trash can in the driveway for your use! Please note that several neighbors have dogs so it is likely you’ll see them out or hear barking (in case your dogs are sensitive to distraction). Also one side of my fence abuts a neighbor’s adjacent yard, and they occasionally let their dogs out into the yard on their side of the fence for a bathroom break. The dogs cannot get through the fence but may come up to it and bark. The neighbors usually call them inside quickly, however there have been rare instances (usually on weekends) where the dogs are left out barking on their deck (away from the fence) for longer periods of time.

17+ acres of fields and many hiking trails for you and your pup to explore and play on! Play in the mowed fields with mountain views or head up the hill on our many well maintained trails that you’ll have all to yourself! Fresh spring water and bowls available. Picnic table and wifi as well. Pass by a scenic farm and swimming hole on your way up, free range chickens abound (these are on neighboring properties, and can easily be given a wide berth, but please be mindful if your pup has a high prey drive).

Welcome to Maddawg's! Come spend a day by the creek in the Land of the Sky with your best furry friend just four miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway! We are also located only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. On the retreat we have chairs, dog waters, a hammock and fire pit for your convenience and relaxation. You and your pup deserve it!

The Olive & Pearls Canine Social Club is a private, fenced, .5 acre spot made just for dogs. We have agility equipment, dog water fountain, seating for humans, and more! Conveniently located right off Asheville Hwy and close to Main St, our location is easy to get to and we have plenty of parking. The inside bathroom is also available during regular business hours. We offer membership options for those who can see themselves coming on a more frequent basis. Members are given access to special blocked times on the calendar. We are always happy to answer questions, so please do not hesitate to ask!

The top pasture of this small farm is available for dogs to sniff and exercise. Sometimes there will be farm animal smells, horses and goats, and turkeys, rabbits and deer may also visit. There is a nice hill to tire everyone out, and a pretty view of my little farm. I like to stand at the top and throw balls down the hill for my young dog when we don’t have visitors! Feel free to pull in through the double red gates and close them behind you, to leave my neighbors room to drive past. *note, I just got the top part of the pasture graded, so until the grass grows back it may be muddy up there during wet weather.

I have .25 acres in West Asheville for your pups to play! Right off Haywood Road, on a quiet, low traffic street.
