55My pups had a fantastic time splashing around in the pond. It was the perfect size that I wasn’t worried about anyone going out too far. I didn’t realize they would be quite so enthusiastic about the chickens in the back of the property…I thought they were contained in the hutch but a couple came out, and a rousing game of chase ensued…for the dogs that have never met chickens!. But aside from heart palpitations on behalf of the chickens, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

Description

Hi there! We have 5 acres with a pond and beach, for you and your pup to enjoy. There are chairs in the sand, and a swing on the grass. The dogs love to bounce in the pond and chase the frogs. Sadly, they are never successful, but always exhausted! Please park in the driveway, and enjoy the backyard! We are five miles north of Romeo off of M53 on a dirt road in the country. This is our little piece of heaven. Please note there is no fencing. Our dogs will be in the house during your visit. The tree lines are the property lines, please stay within and enjoy!

This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

I may also lock their doggie doors, keeping them from coming out to watch the other dogs run, in hopes of keeping the barking down. We do have a small area behind our barn and a larger area towards the middle that may be somewhat flooded, depending on how much rain and snow we get. It’s only there in the winter time and is usually dried up by late April or early May. Our dogs run it daily and never have any problems. The entire 4 acres is fenced all the way around.

Lots of trees and shrubbery to give you a private oasis. Please close the gate when leaving. Note: I bought my house with a large after one of my dogs was attacked at a dog park causing 2 surgeries and very expensive vet bills. Enjoy my yard with piece of mind.
