Good place to let the dogs run!
Great place with lots of hills and trails for the dogs to get tired going up and down. They had lots of fun. River was a bit hard to get to but they managed to get down there to swim and cool off. Water for the dogs was readily available for us at the entrance. Seasonal pond happened to be dried up at our visit.
We LOVED this sniff spot! The terrain (hilly with tons of up and down) was perfect for tiring out our dog and offered so many sniffs! Our toddler loved seeing slugs and mushrooms! There are lots of "landmarks"/signs to mark the trail! Our dog loved the skelly! We were there for just under an hour and everyone definitely got their workouts in - two adults, one feral toddler, and one wild Golden! Will definitely be returning! There are currently no fences up, but with the long driveway and recall, it was not an issue for us.
Great spot with a pond to splash around in. Lots of things to sniff with many different terrains.
Absolutely amazing place!! My pups had so much fun. I will def be back the only thing I will say is that if you’re looking for a place where your dogs will not hear, see or encounter any sort of other dogs this won’t be the place for you because the owner has dogs and uses an outside kennel so just be aware for when you let your babies off leash, they most likely will encounter a dog but in s kennel. I’m sure it won’t be a problem for anyone I just wanted to inform the people out there with reactive dogs for when you come here. Also there are a TON of blackberry vines/debris with sharp thorns and I mean they’re like everywhere around so just be mindful and careful and check the area your pup will be running off leash before letting them one of my pups did get a few cuts, but that’s okay dogs are tough :)
Thank you!
This spot has so much room for my dog to run around and explore. It's set back from the road far enough that you can't even hear the cars and the property stretches all the way down to a river in the back. There's a cute little pond for my pup to splash in and the owner has cut a few trails to explore (with plans for more). I love coming here and letting my puppy stretch his legs.
Great place to get some exercise with the hill and path to the river.
Property being unfenced wasn’t an issue for us due to the long drive way that leads to the house. Once arriving to the house there was a dog we can hear barking from inside the house, but it stopped after a bit as we kept walking away from the house. Walking towards the back yard has open, but steep hills my pup loved running up and down playing fetch. We also walked back up and down the drive way there is plenty of room on both sides to sniff around with lots of trees. Definitely one of our favorite spots now.
