55Just took our dogs here and they had the best time! I haven’t seen my 9yr old run like that in years! Very clean and so much space for the pups to explore!
55Great spot, very large area to explore. Fencing was good. Saw a couple of stray golf balls in the grass so be mindful if your dog likes eating those.
55Such a great spot!! Fully fenced, huge space to run. Easy to get to. We had a great time!
55This is the perfect spot for dogs to run around. My dogs had an absolute blast!!! The host was very accommodating and responded right away after booking.
55We had a great visit! It's a wide-open, fully-fenced area for your dog to run around in and explore. Our pup had a blast and was exhausted and ready to sleep when we left. Jon provided waste bags and water and had his dogs put up in his backyard, so they can be seen/heard, but were separated from the field we were using. I'm sure we will be back again!
55Responsive host and great/clean field for the pups.
55Our favorite Charlotte area sniffspot! Thank you for having us!
55Perfect spot for some morning fetch! Very quiet and peaceful.
55We love Golden Goat Farm! Jon is always very accommodating and friendly, and allows us to sometimes book on short notice!
55Really great spot with tons if space to run! Super peaceful and well maintained area.

Where Dogs can be Dogs

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂
