Our pups had the best time. Our little ones are too small for dog parks and really needed some open space to run free. This was the perfect alternative. Now everyone is happily napping. Highly recommend!

Lots of open space to test out the horsepower! 2 of my 3 dogs are tired. (The 3rd is a freak of nature who is impossible to tire out). I fell in love with that Newfie. What a love bug! He was very calm and quiet and actually a great experience for my 3. Gorgeous spot! I got some beautiful fog photos.

A friend and I took our 3 Labs to Brighter Day Farm and it was a fantastic experience. The facility/field was fully fenced, clean and has an open wood shed area which made for great sniffing for the dogs. It was easy access from I5, the hosts were friendly but left us alone and overall it was large, safe and rural. We will definitely return to this spot for off leash fun in the future. The dogs left tired and my friend and I had a stress free experience - fun for everyone.

Beautiful spot to let my pups run & play!! We really appreciated them sharing their farm with us! We will definitely be back to play again!

We brought 4 dogs to run around and smell all the things in the big open field. It was the perfect neutral place to introduce my new dog to the rest of our family pack. All dogs loved sniffing and barking at the neighbor’s goats and running all over. An FYI if you have a smaller dog who is on the curious side: they may be able to crawl under a fence next to the barn in the field. I’m not sure if that area is entirely fenced in. My 20 lb cockapoo wanted to hang out in that area several times and was able to crawl under the fence on one side. Placed my backpack there and it was fine. Also, this may just be my nosy Parker dog. We will definitely be back. It is a beautiful location!

My dogs and kids both loved running around! The area is very nice and not too muddy

Great spot! Plenty of space to run and play. Beautiful and peaceful too.

Very beautiful property! Was perfect for my two shepherds and will definitely be visiting again. Had some nice chairs and a water bowl, with access to water, and lots of shaded areas for the dogs to cool off. Had a great time!

Very clean, well maintained property. Owner of property was flexible when I couldn’t make original booking and worked with me for a new one. My 6 dogs had plenty of room to run and terrain was easy for my husband and I to walk along as well. You will likely see other animals while there, the neighbors have goats who were in their own fenced enclosure and also neighbors had a dog - animal life listed above were well behaved and didn’t come running up to the fence to see our dogs, so it was not a problem at all. Definitely will be bringing my dogs back!

Perfect place for your dogs to run free and great location. Our dogs love it!

Meet your host

Hello from the Stouts! We love farm life up here on Pleasant Hill. We couldn't be more excited to share it with other animal lovers. Audrey is a teacher and Andrew is a registered nurse. We might be a little biased, but we think our farm is the most beautiful place on earth. ;)

Kota’s Place - huge yard, great for agile dogs!

***New added information at the bottom*** Yard rental for dogs (and people!) to exercise, play, and sniff to their hearts content! Yard can also be rented by dog/animal trainers for a set fee instead of price per dog. Inquire if you’d like more information. Fully fenced backyard. Grass is somewhat long in some of the pictures, but it will be mowed prior to your visit. There is a rock pile for any agile dog that likes to climb. We also have a large galvanized metal troth that can be filled with water if your dog likes to play in water, we would just need at least 3/4 hours advanced notice so we have enough time fill it for you, it is pictured. The covered structure in the middle of the yard has camping chairs next to it and a picnic table you can use. There’s a power strip between two of the cozy chairs on the covered porch, or one by the hot tub. We just ask that you please limit it to no more than 2 devices plugged in. We can provide an electric heater to be used on the porch or by hot tub area if needed, just be sure to add that extra to your booking. There are plenty of scent trails to be followed as we often have small wildlife coming through the yard. Rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, and plenty of birds that our dog still tries to catch even though she doesn’t stand a chance 😂 It is a fairly private back yard, so it is quite relaxing aside from the occasional loud barking of our neighbor dogs. We have an American bulldog/brittany spaniel mix, but she will be kept inside with us during your visit. You may hear her loud mouth from time to time, she sometimes fusses when other dogs are using her yard and she can’t join them 😀…There is plenty of parking, you can even open the gate and pull your vehicle into the carport area if you would like. We can possibly dog-sit for a fee so long as your dog is kind and comfortable with us. Cost could be discussed. We live at the end of a gravel road so even though it feels very distant, we’re close to the main roads that go through Graham/Puyallup or Orting. Only about 5-7 minutes from the Fred Meyer located on Meridian and 176th in Puyallup. There is a large white wooden gate that is open leading into the property. Pull in and to the right, park in front of the tall garage and access the backyard through the large metal cattle gate between the garage and house. Lift it up and opening outwardly. It may be blocked from opening by a cinder block on the ground, so you can just move that out of the way. We only put it there because our girl is an escape artist and figured out how to hit it with her nose enough times to pop it open. The little turd, she’s a strong one! If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! Thanks! We hope you and your pet enjoy your visit! We will be adding a toy bin in the near future, for now you may find a stray ball or two in the yard. Our dog is a heavy chewer, so toys don’t last long around here unfortunately. If you have any specific toy requests, feel free to let us know, we do our best to please person and pups alike! If you would like to book at a different time than what is available, please contact me. I’m pretty flexible so I’m sure we can work something out. Inflatable hot tub is now up and running, so you can add an hour of soak time to your booking if you would like 🙂 We’re going to implement a monthly “yummy thank you” for our 4 and 8 hour per month membership holders, so I encourage our patrons to sign up for a membership! Each 4 and 8 hour membership holder can pick any meal that they’d like me to make for them once per month, and I’ll make enough for 2 servings(can fix larger servings at an additional cost of $3 per person depending on desired meal.) I’m quite the maestro in the kitchen, so I promise you won’t regret it! The 8 hour monthly membership will also include a custom mocktail to go with your meal(We can always spike it with whatever liquor you bring along.) And a special treat for your pup! We can easily accommodate allergies/food aversions. All memberships come with other occasional perks/gifts as well. Thanks so much for your patronage! Have a great day!
