55Amazing host, plenty of water bowls, space and toys
55Really wonderful landscaping that creates a variety of grassy play areas. The neighbor’s German shepherd will ‘greet’ you thru the chain link fence but he’s all bluster. Definitely would have been an issue if I’d brought my reactive dog - the host made me aware (thank you) so I only brought my socialized buddy. Truly an enchanting landscape
55What a beautiful spot! It felt even bigger than 0.5 acre because there was such a great variety of spaces for our dog to explore and sniff, as well as different spots for people, including a nice shaded bench next to the koi pond, where you can sit and hear the calming sound of running water. There was plenty of room for our dog to really stretch his legs and run, and everything was lovely and clean. Fencing looked very secure. The yard has a really nice private feel to it (tall stone wall at the back) and I didn't see or hear the human neighbors at all (visit was mid-day on a Saturday). Just to be aware if your dog is very dog-reactive, during our visit there was a barky dog on one side of the yard (behind a five foot chain link fence), and one at a higher level at the back of the yard, The one on the side was only there for a few minutes at the beginning, and the yard is so big that our dog only spent a few minutes now and then barking at the one in the back. It wasn't a problem for us. Host was kind and welcoming, though we didn't meet her -- she put out water and toys for everyone. Wish I'd taken more pictures today, as the yard is bigger and more varied than it looks in the two I've uploaded. This one checks all the boxes for us. We had a great time and will be back!

Come and play in Sammy’s Playground. There’s lots to do. With the entire 0.5-acre backyard fully enclosed by a new chain link fence (Fall 2022), the pups are free to roam and run to their hearts delight. And, wow… it sure is fun to watch them go!! The areas along the edges of the yard are wooded and make for fun pathways for explorations. The central area of the yard has a slight hill and is mostly open. This makes for plenty of romping and heavy-duty running- including long throws of a ball or a frisbee. Check out all of the photos and read the accompanying descriptions to get a better idea of how Sammy’s Playground will appeal to you and your furry friends!! And don’t worry about the yard (too much). There’s divots and mounds all around, no manicured lawns when dogs are at play. Go for it guys… Enjoy!! Come mid-May, the pool will be opened. While it’ll likely be too chilly for humans (and even some pups), many dogs will find great pleasure in retrieving their ball or simply going for a dip in the pool. Shortly thereafter, the furniture, gazebo, hammock, kiddie pool and a whole bunch more will be out for ALL to enjoy as we welcome summertime!! Yea As an added benefit, as listed in the additional charges, you may park your vehicle in an area away from the gate and take advantage of a leisurely stroll down the very-well-kept sidewalks of Park Street and adjoining neighborhoods. This might be a good way to burn off that last little bit of doggy energy or for some leash training while you’re here. ——- NOTE: to open the gate, simply reach over the top to find the key. Twist/turn the key until it stops. Then, lift the knob on top of the gate and push the gate open… you’re in! The gate automatically closes behind you. Please confirm that it has engaged into the closed position and then turn the key to lock yourself in. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY.
