55Spacious area. They had water, dog treats, and dog toys available. Also water and snacks for us with plenty of seating and shade. Will be back again!
55My dogs had a great time and felt welcome by the most gracious hostess.
55This was my first ever Sniffspot visit, and I’ve already decided that I won’t be going anywhere else than here. Soph and I hope to visit often! It was spacious and clean, and they have nice extras like human and doggy snacks and toys. I met the host, Anita, and she was just the sweetest. Sophie and I had a fantastic time! Thank you so much!!
55Very accommodating, understanding and friendly hosts . They make sure our visits are very fun. Our personal favorite place to go run around!!
55Tony and Anita accommodated us with a last minute request and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed their yard again! Thank you!!
55We had a lovely time at Anita and Anthony's yard! It's clean, large, fully fenced in with lots of room for our dogs to run and play. Anita was extremely kind and welcoming and left out snacks and water for both dogs and humans. This was the perfect first sniff spot experience for us!
55This was our first Sniffspot and it was wonderful! Super clean, snacks for adults and dogs, and a bin of freshly cleaned toys. Anita the host was awesome and we will be back!

Both my wife, Anita and I are retired. We have a 21-year-old son named Rex. We had been blessed with two wonderful dogs. Angel was a lab and then we had Luke, a puggle who recently passed. Our hearts are full of love for our four-legged friends and we want to share our yard with them.

Come and play in Sammy’s Playground. There’s lots to do. With the entire 0.5-acre backyard fully enclosed by a new chain-link fence (Fall 2022), the pups are free to roam and run to their hearts delight. And, wow… it sure is fun to watch them go!! Zoom-Zoom (important notices on pricing and opening the gate are at close of this section). The areas along the edges of the yard are wooded and make for fun pathways for explorations. The central area of the yard has a slight hill and is mostly open. This makes for plenty of romping and heavy-duty running- including long throws of a ball or a frisbee. Check out all of the photos and read the accompanying descriptions to get a better idea of how Sammy’s Playground will appeal to you and your furry friends!! And don’t worry about the yard (too much). There’s divots and mounds all around, no manicured lawns when dogs are at play. Go for it guys… Enjoy!! The pool💦 is open and the water is Devine for pups and humans alike. We allow two humans per dog to assist any dogs that may need “assistance.” We have a bunch of life vests available, but can’t guarantee that we have one that will fit your dog(s). Many dogs will find great pleasure in retrieving their ball or simply going for a dip in the pool. Sammy is a nutcase for his tennis balls. David stands in the deep end, throws the ball to the stairs, Sammy bobs for the ball, retrieves it… all to do it again (whining the whole time). Mind you, he will not retrieve (or drop) his tennis ball otherwise. For 💦 pool use, select the corresponding “Extra” for your visit. Striped towels for the dogs. Colorful towels for the humans. Place wet towels on the wall. They’ll dry almost instantly. We also set up the furniture, gazebo, hammock, doggie toys, cold water and beverages for our Guests for ALL to enjoy as we enjoy this summertime!! Yea. It’s our hope that our family-like relationships between us and our Guests remain great and we to avoid any reason to raise our hourly rate. SniffSpot suggests we list at $20/hour. We are uncomfortable with doing this, because it goes against the spirit of our objective for the playground in the first place: providing a safe and secure environment for dogs of all kinds to enjoy off-leash “true-dog” experiences with their loving humans. We do welcome donations of dog food and medications for the all-dog rescue organization, PAWS New England. In fact, on some occasions, we may make Sammy’s Playground available on “off” hours. When we do, we consider this premium time and ask that a donation be a must. ——- NOTE: to open the gate, simply reach over the top to find the key. Twist/turn the key until it stops. Then, lift the knob on top of the gate and push the gate open… you’re in! The gate automatically closes behind you. Please confirm that it has engaged into the closed position and then turn the key to lock yourself in. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY. The photos section includes views of the gate, key and lock. NOTE: As an “Extra” listed benefit, you may park your vehicle in an area away from the gate and take advantage of a leisurely stroll down the very-well-kept sidewalks of Park Street and adjoining neighborhoods. This might be a good way to burn off that last little bit of doggy energy or for some leash training while you’re here. This is time AFTER your booked time of using Sammy’s Playground (not a part of it). This is essentially a parking fee. We just don’t want you to run off without taking advantage of all the resources available to you for your dog(s).
