Madison Dog Park: Your Dog's Private Backyard in Pawtucket

Fully Fenced
0.01 acres

If your dog is reactive, anxious, shy, hyper-social, senior, recovering from surgery, prone to injury/illness, or just wants quiet playtime with their best buds, you’re in the right place. 💛 Hey! I’m Fernando, and this is my mom, Gladys. Growing up without dogs just made us extra obsessed later in life. Now, we have two Goldendoodles who rule the house (and the yard), and they inspired us to turn our little backyard into a private play space for pups who deserve something special Our yard is just over 500 sq ft, but trust us, we packed it with all the things dogs love… fun, comfort, and room to zoom. So what makes our space different? 🐾 No random dogs. No awkward owner chats. No distractions. When you book, the whole park is just for you and your pup. Stress-free, quiet, peaceful play. Great for reactive dogs! 🎉 Agility equipment, tunnels, balls, toys, costumes (yes, really). This isn’t a basic sniff-and-go… it’s an adventure. 🌿 No rough gravel here. Our surfaces are comfy for zoomies, naps, and everything in between. 🧼 We keep things spotless and fresh for every guest. Plus, we work with a local lawn service for pet-safe flea, tick & mosquito treatments. ⏰ Open 5:30am to late evening, solar + yard lights included. 💛 Just $5/hour. Yup, you read that right. We’ve put a lot of love into this space, but we believe joy should be affordable. While prices may change down the line, we’re keeping it accessible for our local dog families. Not into subscriptions? Message me for $5 single visits* Included: ✅ Toys, ropes, balls ✅ Shaded chill spots + human seating ✅ Fresh water bowls ✅ Agility gear ✅ Hammock for the humans ✨ Optional add-ons: poop cleanup, splash pad, bubbles & more! 🫧 Trouble with the app? Text me: 401-339-6067 ¡Y sí, también hablamos español! 🇺🇸 Thanks for supporting a small local family-run dog park. We can’t wait to welcome you to the pack.

The Bran & Honey Spot

Fully Fenced
0.09 acres

**Summer: The times of day with the most shade are 8:30a-11a and after 4p. The yard is in complete shade after 6:30 pm. Middle of the day 11:30a-2:30p is the most sunny time. Welcome! Sniffspot holds a special place in my heart. My dog, Bran, is reactive and it was a life saver having a safe space to bring him and his sister, Miss Honey, to play! As an avid Sniffspot guest, I wanted to return the favor once I got a fully fenced in yard and host. My dogs love all the sniff action it brings too! Enjoy!

Woodland Paradise

Fully Fenced
1 acre

NOTE we have had a few recent issues with folks being sent to the wrong location while using Apple Maps. If you are having trouble locating us we suggest using Waze or Google Maps as an alternative. The driveway is well marked with Sniffspot signs. Fully fenced, lightly wooded yard, about an acre. Paths around perimeter and throughout. Barn with kennels in case you need to separate dogs or get in out of the weather. Plenty of shade. The property contains many boulders, tree stumps, logs and leaves for your dog to explore, and lots of room to run. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots and watch your step. There may be roots, rocks, holes or the occasional poop hiding under the leaves. Several of our guests have seen deer on the path to the SniffSpot gate. We strongly recommend keeping your dogs leashed until you are safely inside the fenced area.

Frequently asked questions about Rhode Island dog parks

What amenities do private dog parks in Rhode Island offer that public parks don't?

Rhode Island private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Woodland Paradise is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Rhode Island listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.

Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Rhode Island?

Yes! Most of Rhode Island's 156 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Rhode Island listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.

How clean are private dog parks in Rhode Island compared to public ones?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Rhode Island are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Rhode Island maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Rhode Island hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.

What types of dog parks can I find in Rhode Island?

Rhode Island has 156 diverse options: dog water parks for specific training activities, small dog parks for different environments, and fully fenced dog parks for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Rhode Island to find convenient options.

Can I book Rhode Island dog parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Rhode Island Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Rhode Island private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.

Do Rhode Island dog parks have water access?

Many do! Filter Rhode Island's 156 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Rhode Island's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Rhode Island hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.

Are there indoor dog parks in Rhode Island?

Yes! Rhode Island has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Rhode Island locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Rhode Island's covered and climate-controlled options.

What's the best time to visit dog parks in Rhode Island?

With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Rhode Island. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Rhode Island locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
