Park looked great! No more glass and shards of metal. I’m glad the host cleaned it up. It’s such a perfect spot in the city. The neighbor with the German shepherd came by again. They still didn’t have them on a leash, but at least he had the dog restrained this time. The toys and water left for us to use is always really nice. The pups love it. I’m glad the host is open to feedback. The improvements make this spot perfect for us. Oh, and a Velcro strap has been the best way to keep the gate closed.
I had to wait inside my car when I got there because I saw the neighbor walking his German shepherd off leash again. I’m sure if the host would try to at least have a conversation with their neighbor, this could get resolved. The shards of glass inside and immediately outside the park have become too much of a liability for my client’s pups and my business. I have mentioned this to the host on more than one occasion and it continues to be out there almost a week later. There’s also rusty metal pipes sticking out of the ground inside the “park”. I want to like this place so badly as it is the only private park within a reasonable distance from me. Every time I come here, It’s a risk though. Very unfortunate.
Next door neighbor walks his German shepherd off leash and does not recall it when it gets my client’s dogs riled up on the other side of the fence. Allowed his German shepherd to bite at my client’s dogs faces through the iron fence and caused one of my puppies to get templed by the older dogs. There still continues to be shards of glass and metal throughout the park and no one has picked up the broken glass and lightbulbs from right outside the property even after informing the host.
Love this spot! Host is very flexible and puts toys out for the pups. They love it. Bring something to keep the gate latch closed though. It does not latch and the hair tie provided does not keep it secure. I will definitely be returning.
Great spot conveniently very close to where I live. Gate latch does not latch and is held closed by a hair tie that expands big enough for a mini schnauzer and anything a little bigger or smaller to slip through. A few cigarette butts and typical particles of trash that you’d find at any park or dog park. Host was great and offered a few extra things. They were very responsive and answered all questions I had. They also provided a few toys that the pups enjoyed playing with. I will definitely be booking again and recommend this spot!
It is a really nice spot for me and my dog to play around, and run around! Peaceful and comfortable! I loved it!
