Description

Big private partially fenced open area behind house that backs up to a small creek Located just 2 minutes off main bypass 35/80 between Ankeny and Des Moines. Just under 2 acres and Feels like country in the city. Very safe neighborhood!!! Bring your dog by For a visit! They’ll love the open space to run and chase rabbits, squirrels and birds! 🐕 🐶 🐩 🦴 they’ll enjoy trails, tall and short grass and partially fenced full acre+ to run. We do have 8 chickens 🐓 on property now, that will be securely cooped up out of sight/view during visit🐾

Nice spot tucked away in the city. It was quiet, had lots of sniffing opportunities & the host was great! Especially appreciated the water supply!

Aleah and her husband are wonderful. They where super informative about the lay out of the yard, they provided water and bowls plus a place in the shade for me to sit. They where very welcoming and kind. My dogs really enjoyed how large the yard was. They where able to sniff all over and explore through tall grasses which they really liked. Will definitely be returning!!

The dogs had a great and relaxing time. They were able to sniff around and run. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed sitting in the shade under the tree. They had chairs and fresh water, thank you!

We took our two Weimaraner's there and they absolutely loved the tall grass! Just like the description says, it feels like country in the city! The was plenty of room to toss a football in the mowed area as well. Will definitely go again!

Pawsitively Spacious Woodland | Just off I-235

Conveniently located 0.5 mile off I-235, we have a beautiful 1-acre wooded spot for our dog friends to run & play! It's a hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. It is fully fenced (4-ft chain link) with 2 private entry gates. Lots of open grass with some gentle hills and trees. There’s a concrete pad for off street parking next to the Little Free Library. One of the entry gates is located down a grass pathway from the parking area. The other is located from our private residence. A garbage can and extra pet waste bags are provided on site. There are even some toys and dog treats! Seating is located on site as well. There is no running water or restrooms on site so please plan accordingly! Also, please DO NOT SMOKE/VAPE or consume DRUGS/ALCOHOL while on the premises. Thanks and we hope you enjoy our private dog park!

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
