Description

Our spot is a relatively quiet and serene yard. It is the perfect size. With its short grass, the yard feels like a peaceful field. With waste removal bags and receptacles provided, it’s one last thing to worry about while giving your pup a great yard to zoom around in, or just wander and enjoy the smells. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!

HOST NOTE

There is a deck with stairs leading to it. There will be a gate at the bottom of the stairs so your pets won’t get stuck up on the deck. There is no deck access allowed at this time - however we do have some big ideas coming soon!

Extras

Fire-Pit20 credits

This extra gets you a beautiful ‘bonfire’ night. We will set up our solo stove on the concrete pad. You will be equipped with fire wood and starter to keep things going. 2 chairs provided. Additional requests are taken as we are able.

Kiddie Pool20 credits

Add on a full kiddie pool for your water lovin pup(s)! Pool is actually a bit bigger and sturdier than most grocery store ones! *We will fill pool prior to your arrival, and take care of the rest when you depart*

Self-Serve Bath20 credits

This add-on gives you access to our ‘Booster Bath’, an outdoor raised self-draining pet wash station. We will provide the water, shampoo, sprays and towels! Please leave towels in tub when finished.

There are 2 gates on the fence. Both can be used, please just replace the carabiners afterwards. Please do not enter the house though the door at the top of the steps. Please do not move the gate on the stairs, the deck and stairs are not to be used. If you pup gets curious and finds themself on the deck, please gather them and lean the gate back up. Please enjoy yourself and direct any questions or concerns to me!

We are currently overwhelmed with debris from the hurricane and recent storms. Most of the debris has to be temporarily staged in the area that is a portion of the SniffSpot area. If you would like to bring your pup to roam and play in the creek on a hot day, please message me first and I will check the clean-up schedule. Please understand we welcome you but the grassy field is not currently up to our standards. This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with future additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.

Zoomieland in Downtown Fountain Inn

Zoomieland offers more than an acre of flat, open, fenced-in doggie joy and is spacious enough to reach full-on sprint speeds to get those zoomies out. Located just blocks from the heart of downtown Fountain Inn, including dog friendly places such as The Mill and Voodoo Brewing, and one mile off of 385, Zoomieland offers easy street parking along the fence line, near the rear of the Younts Center and Excel Academy. Entrance is the small gate next to the parking lot. The field features some mature oak and pecan trees around the perimeter. Throughout the day, the shade moves so please feel free to move the chairs to where you and your pups will be happiest. Also, let your dogs get their zoomies out after dark! We have lights? However, please be aware that the field is not lit up with powerful, stadium type lights. It's a soft glow and not all areas of the field are illuminated - areas around the trees have motion-detection lights only and can be a bit dark. However, Zoomieland lends out glow-in-the dark collars, so that you can spot your dogs wherever they go! Just some little warnings: * There are some prickly-type plants in the vegetation - I recommend that people avoid those areas. * Watch your step as the field has some uneven areas and some active ant mounds. * An adjoining neighbor has a dog. They are very good at bringing him in but nonetheless, there could be dog nearby. * Zoomieland is near train tracks and twice a day a train passes by and is quite loud. * The adjoining parking is usually very quiet but there is a church service on Sundays at 11:20 so expect people walking nearby around 11am and noon-ish. * There is a daycare nearby and throughout weekdays, little ones play outside. * Lastly, there are times when the Younts Center has an event, where there are many people walking by. It's not often but it can happen on the weekends. Also, I'm not a stickler for time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, then stay an extra 10 minutes. If you arrive 5 minutes early, go on in. If you're running late, check with me and I'll let you know if it's okay to stay any later. Please feel free to upload pictures of your pups on my Sniffspot listing! :) Zoomieland is home field of Deuce, Fountain Inn Police Department K-9. We donate access to our Sniffspot so that he can enjoy Zoomieland too!
