The gate to this yard was nearly impossible to open and then didn’t stay shut when I got in. I had to secure it with one of my own leashes. The pool was nice despite the plethora of bugs floating in it but the yard in general isn’t very taken care of and there were wasps flying around.
Love the pool! And plenty of yard to roam and sniff around!
My dogs had a good time here and the pool was refreshing on a summer day. I wouldn’t recommend this spot if your dog gets into things, as there were a lot of random personal items and trash scattered around the yard. There were also piles of dog poop in the yard so just be mindful of where you’re stepping. We ended up leaving early because our dogs were barking, making the neighbors and host dogs bark as well.
Some confusion regarding checking in as knocking on the door led to speaking with apparent roommate who was unaware of the appointment who needed to contact host. Roommate was fortunately pretty friendly. My dog really enjoyed using the pool and running around the grass, which while a bit long did not bother my dog. I think with better communication regarding the reservation this would be a nice place for dogs to enjoy the pool.
This is such a great spot! The pool is awesome and my dog loved the shady spot under the trampoline too. Some visitors popped into the yard at one point unexpectedly, but I had booked the space very last-minute so I assume it was just a miscommunication. Also, there was a dog right on the other side of the fence barking but only for a short time. Thank you for having us and I hope to come back again soon!
This is a good sized yard and the pool is a nice bonus! The fence was tall and secure, and our two Great Danes had fun running around off leash. Pros: secure privacy fence, pool, plenty of grassy area to explore, patio furniture to sit on Cons: lots of miscellaneous items left out (lawn mower, window screens, etc.), trash and cushions scattered throughout the yard, high grass in multiple areas which made me nervous for snakes Overall, this is a decent option if you’re needing a secure yard in the area. I would return as long as I had be a doggy friend to keep my boy busy, otherwise he would have tried to eat the trash and cushions throughout the yard.
This sniffspot is great for dogs that love to play in the water and cool off. There is plenty of yard for your dogs to run around and get some energy out. If your dog has a tendency to eat everything they see, this might not be the best sniffspot for you. There were a lot of items laying around the yard (plastic bottles, cardboard, bone pieces, cushions). Our dogs left things alone thankfully! If you have a reactive or aggressive dog message the host and let them know! The host came out to the back yard during our time, he was very kind but it is stressful with my reactive dog. I should have sent a message ahead of time ensuring we would be alone! Also bring a dog water bowl and water for your pup. Overall this sniffspot has some good potential and the drive to the location was beautiful and relaxing.
