Little Fall Creek field

We are located in the heart of Springfield. We are a short drive from I5 if you are just passing through with your pup. Our Spot is a tall fenced yard where your pup can run through the front and back yards. Our spot is good for big or small dogs, reactive dogs, training, or groups of dogs. We have water, toys, and treats available. We live close to a bike path and occasionally there are noises from this or nearby houses, but is usually tempered by the fence and doesn’t bother us or our pup. We have a curious and friendly German Shepherd named Millie. She sometimes likes to peek from the window. We do keep her away from view when visitors arrive.

Four miles off of the Interstate 5 (Creswell Exit 182) Private 7 flat grass and wooded acres, fully fenced. There are a couple spots along the fenceline that have openings at the bottom or gaps. See photos. FRONT PASTURE IS CLOSED. Unfortunately not handicapped accessible. Gopher, mole, and dog holes are to be expected. Mud during the raining season. Sheep and llama keep pastures trimmed and fertilized.

I have a small fully fenced backyard with a short lawn (I’m a new homeowner so I’m still learning how to consistently maintain my lawn). My yard is almost fully a rectangle and is great for all dogs to get their zoomies out or work on training in a private yard! Easy access to the space on a quiet block with available street parking. I adopted my pup and realized she wasn’t good with other dogs and was so grateful to a friend who introduced me to SniffSpot! Now that I have my own yard, I’d love to share my safe space for other pups that may not feel as safe/comfortable at public dog parks.

PLEASE NOTE: There has been a trend of visitors not being mindful of the rule to keep vehicles on graveled surfaces. The orange cones and guide rails set out to help guide drivers is not working - in fact my cone has been destroyed and my 4x4 posts run over. Not staying on graveled surfaces is a maintenance issue and degrades soil surfaces. Over time I will be installing more substantial barriers to increase visual awareness to where gravel ends and soil begins. In the meantime, I will be substantially increasing my fee - 1. To offset the cost of supplies and to purchase a load of gravel once enough funds have been generated to cover that expense, 2. To compensate me for my time providing maintenance and repair and 3. To hopefully ensure that all guests are being respectful of our property. I can only offer this sanctuary to dogs if my property is respected and my rules followed. I appreciate your attention to this detail and to you following all rules listed here and at the gate. MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST to repeat/returning guests after we have met. Jasper Memorial Dog Sanctuary, named in memory of my soul dog Jasper, is no larger than 2 acres in size (I do not have specific data on the actual acreage) and fully fenced. The acreage is a combination of mid-age dense timber, new reforestation and open grass. The area is flanked on two sides by driveway. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀. Be respectful of wildlife. Deer and turkey roam the property and consider the space their home. If there are wild animals in the sanctuary enclosure upon your arrival, please keep your dog(s) on leash until the other animals have vacated the area. Under no circumstance are dogs allowed to chase wildlife. Domestic and rescued animals that live on the property include horses, donkeys, geese and chickens. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 and do not approach any of these animals. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 is about 200' away from the entrance gate. Please keep dog(s) on leash until within the fenced enclosure. 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 - If you have reason to have more than two vehicles for your visit, please contact me prior to reserving for pre-approval. If approved, there will be an "Extra" fee to add to your reservation. Please select the appropriate "Extra" for the number of vehicles approved. 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗡𝗼 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝘀𝗲 anywhere on the property anytime. 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿. Be sure all dogs brought to the property have been registered with Sniffspot for your visit for liability purposes. A 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 are available near parking area at the corner of the barn. There are also two to three 2-gallon water buckets in the dog sanctuary area. I will rinse and fill in the morning, feel free to refresh them at the spigot at barn throughout the day. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁, three chairs and a small folding table are available at the site. They may be folded and leaning against a tree during the rainy season. A 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 has been added. Please limit to poop. I have no garbage service at the farm, I am the garbage service. Thank you for your consideration. Please 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 and your dog so each person/dog can have an enjoyable experience. NOTE: Wild animal poop will not be picked up. Expect to encounter poop from turkeys and deer. While the presence of coyote, fox, bobcat and cougar is rare, you might see the poop of these animals as well. 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱. The sanctuary is at 1300' elevation and will be closed, appointments cancelled, during snow events. During fire season, the sanctuary may need to be closed, appointments cancelled, due to extreme fire danger. 𝗜 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝘆 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 - I will attempt to meet you and your dog at your first visit. After that you may not see me during your visit. If I'm not present at your arrival, please review the rules and things to be aware of prior to using the sanctuary posted at the sanctuary entrance. Please help to keep costs down by adhering to the property rules.

Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath City limits, is for puppies of all ages, sizes and behavior levels. Accessible access. Reactive dogs are welcome. We offer the use of a large, fenced, level field for training, play time or socializing. Plenty of room to exercise or enjoy a sprinkler in warm weather with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. You are always welcome to add friends to your reservation! Extras to add on: summer access to the river*, wading pool, sprinkler, splash pad, special walking areas, or book a party! *Note: You must add on the extra: “Tour of the Farm”, in order to reserve private river access, or special use areas in the future. This is a one-time extra, for the safety of all owners, dogs, your hosts, and farm employees! {It is not necessary to do this during your first visit.}

We have a great yard for dogs to play and exercise in, but a beautiful walk/spot for you! We have two dogs that are friendly and willing to play or can stay securely inside. Come relax with the beautiful flowers and plants while your pupper plays along the trails.
