55Thank you for sharing your space on Thanksgiving Day. We had the best time! Sitting by the pond in the sun was glorious. Wonder and I were so happy.
55Wonderful wide open field for dogs to run around. Loved the bench and tote of toys. They even had bottles of water and dog dishes for our pups. If your dog likes to swim there is a pond, but right now it is pretty muddy. But they do have a hose to rinse pup off. It’s like having a dog park all to yourself!
45Not what I was expecting, though no fault of the host. I somehow missed the information about the larger shared pond and lost my husky to it. Probably still wouldn’t have been that big of deal if there were an easier way for me to access it to collect him. A very cute spot and I’ll be forever jealous of those who have a dog with a recall who het to enjoy it. We finished the last 20 minutes on a long line. 😅
55Thank you 😊
55We love this spot! It’s perfect for our old dog and our young one too. Nice breeze today and the humans appreciated the well-placed bench.
55Clear signage, lots of running and swimming space.
55A lovely spot, we really enjoyed it and we will be back. A huge field, surrounded by blackberry bushes and wire fencing. It should keep your dog in unless the dog is really an intrepid explorer. There is a small pond in the middle, which provides lovely shade from tall old trees, a bench, and a table for your belongings. If you're trying to find the big pond, which took me a while, if you walk directly south from the entry, where the orange bucket is, you can see some of the colors on the houses that share the pond and it's easy to find. While I was here I downloaded a compass app, Compass Steel by SimplyWerx for Android, free and no permissions needed. We are looking forward to coming back when the blackberries are in season, my dog is a huge fan. My dog was rescued from the Utah desert and didn't really know what to do about the ponds. My last dog was a water dog and would have totally loved it here. It would be a particularly fun place for someone with a couple dogs where you can play fetch and cool off afterwards. One unexpected downside for me, there's a fair amount of wasps. I am allergic to them and I forgot my EpiPen. Next time I will remember! I'm not sure where the dog water is, probably that is the black hose. I don't like to share my dog bowl with other dogs, so I brought a bowl and gave him my own water, which was fine. But you might want to bring your own bowl. With those minor caveats, it turned out just fine.
55Wilbur always loves it here. Great layout and well-stocked toy box!
55great spot wonder if you will include details about the pond if/when the algae starts to grow? We will be back but probably not until late fall when algae is low probability.
55Great spot! Tons of flat open space for zoomies, a pond to splash in, super easy to access just off the freeway. Wouldn't be great for dogs determined to get out but why would they want to??

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

Expected wild life and open land hazards. Though the land is flat, there may be uneven ground from critters. We have mole/vole bumps. ***During the colder temperatures, the bumps may be frozen. Proceed with caution. Always watch your step. :) Towards the back of the property, behind the small pond and hugging the larger pond, there is a GAP in the wire fencing that leads to the forest/blackberry brushes. There’s a wildlife corridor gap near the bushes and shared pond. Our property is surrounded by blackberry bushes on the perimeter. You may come across blackberry branches with thorns around the property. We do our best to maintain the bushes, but they are everywhere! *** You may see deer, geese, ducks, swans, eagles, blue herons, various birds, and other wild life that enter our property. Please keep this in mind if your dog has a high prey drive. ***Mushroom season! After a good amount of rainfall, our property may have various mushrooms pop up. Please proceed with caution, as some may be toxic to animals and humans.

Host replied: Really happy you enjoyed the visit. We are actively working through the wasps here, kind of a constant thing in rural areas, but yes - if you're allergic PLEASE be prepared for that. Regarding water, we put out fresh water for every visit in the toy box and a drinking bowl is included as well. I'm glad you found the pound and I hope to see you and your 🐶 again soon!

Host replied: I’m glad you enjoyed the visit! We test for blue/algae periodically and it’s been safe. We are relatively new to the area so we’re not sure on the algae blooms unfortunately. We do however have a hose to help rinse you doggo off. Hope this helps!

I love animals and got this property for my 3 rescue dogs to run and explore in. Sharing the space so other furry friends can explore too. We love to go on adventures together and appreciate nature.
