Location

Description

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A kiddie pool as an extra (April- September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table. If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in early spring when the temperatures warm up. When the water to the spigot is turned off, there will be a jug of fresh water on the back steps for your use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it for discarding your poop bags, on the left side of the door to the shed. Please knot your poop bags. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. They can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys. Please try to keep your dog from laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. In the winter, please try to keep your dog(s) from the flowerbeds that are on the perimeter of the yard in front of the fences. Those areas tend to get muddy in the winter months, but are full of flowers in the spring/summer. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.

Cleanliness

97% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There may be some prickly weeds to the right of the shed. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently lost a screw or two, and is probably unstable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.

Extras

Splish Splash Kiddie Pool$5.0

Available April-Sept. Dogs love water! Your dog(s) will love the opportunity to cool off or just chill in the refreshing water of the kiddie pool! With advance notice, the pool will be filled and ready for your visit. In case I am not home to fill the pool before your visit, use the hose and spigot on the back of the house to fill up the pool. The pool will be on top of the egress window on the right side of the back of the house. Slide it off, close the plug, and fill it up. Enjoy!

We had a fabulous time! Our sweet rescue from Puerto Rico loved playing off leash without fear of other dogs scaring her. Very safe, clean and well manicured yard. Fun toys and lots of amenities. We will be back many times! Thanks for sharing your yard with us Snoopy ♥️🐶♥️

Beautiful space, it was very relaxed and quiet while I was there! There were so many toys and goodies provided for the pups to enjoy! They definitely enjoyed their time there.

Host replied: It was really nice to have you and your puppers over to play today. Cooper and Finley looked like they were having a really fun time. It is a much more beautiful space in the spring/summer when all the flowers come up! Hope to see you again soon, Wendy

Mine & Zoe's 2nd time at this wonderful yard. She was unusually calm & laid back today & seemed most content sniffing every inch of the yard & simply exploring everything. I love the container of awesome toys as does Zoe. Was able to meet the host Wendy who was very inviting, warm & pleasant. Love that her yard is such a quick car ride from our home! Will definitely be returning.

Host replied: Thank you Allyson! It was really nice meeting you and Zoe! Zoe is a cutie, and I am so happy to hear that she was able to chill in the yard. Looking forward to having you back!
