An unexpected secluded spot that my dog loved. We saw some deer and small animal tracks, and some passing deer. Great for curious dogs looking for an interesting sniff, with plenty of room for zoomies.
My dogs had a great time exploring the beautiful property! The neighbors dog ran out to greet us when we arrived, but when my dogs had no reaction, the dog left.
Danny's place has a beautiful field, surrounded by huge trees, along with a trail we could only go on partway because it had just rained. Our dog had a great time!!
Although there is a marked trail into the woodsy part of the area, it is very wet in much of the woods. Just be prepared with the right shoes and for a muddy pup. There is also a property in view that keeps chickens and a rooster (they are fenced but very visible) so if you have a dog who is tempted by this, be on the lookout for them to the left of the big field.
Host replied: Sorry your visit was not 5 star worthy. However, it clearly states in the description of my sniffspot that the neighbor has free range chickens and the property can be muddy due to rain.
Field was very nice with lots of open space that me dogs enjoyed running. There were turkeys and chickens next door, but my dogs weren't bothered by them. Definitely would recommend!
Plenty of land to explore with your dog. There is a small trail. We had fun walking around off of it though. It's muddy during the winter and there is thorny brush (it is the woods after all) so just make sure to wear appropriate pants and boots! We played Frisbee in the open field where we parked after walking through woods. It was a great time and the hour flew by. Thanks Danny for being available to answer all my questions!
Nice space with plenty of grass and wooded areas for your dogs. As the spot listing says, it’s unfenced, and there are some chickens and turkeys close by. So, make sure your pups have good recall if off-leash. I’d definitely come back!
