Description

This is a roughly ten-acre property in the heart of wine country in Harpersfield, Ohio. We offer several amenities, including a 1-mile marked trail through fields, pastures, and woods, and a swimmable pond. We are fence-free, so dogs can explore to their hearts' content. We offer free water for the parents, water for dogs, treats, poop bags, sunscreen and bugspray for use seasonally. We also have a doggie first aid kit handy. We marked the trail as stimulating from an olfactory perspective because of a deer trail that goes through the property. Hope to see you soon!

HOST NOTE

We do have a larger pond, a smaller shallow pond and a 2 foot deep watering hole on the property that is on the puppy trail. There is a gradual depth into the larger pond and we do have a life ring nearby. There is also a dock if dogs wanted to just jump off the end, or they can jump in from the sides.

Hello! We are new to Sniffspot but we have a wonderful property we want to share and we love dogs! This is a side gig with myself and my two teenage sons. We live rurally in Harpersfield, Ohio in wine country on 30 acres and have lots to offer, including a 1-mile well-marked outdoor trail through woods and fields, a clean pond with a dock, and a picnic table at the turnaround point. Our property is fence-free and dogs can roam happily. We do have a dog on site that will be in the basement during visits for privacy. And the area has lots of wineries too if you wanted to make a day out of it. Hope to see you soon!

We are located on a no outlet street in Munson (Chardon), Ohio. Our home has several acres; one acre is securely fenced in with a combination of decorative fencing and chain link. All of the gates have an extra "lock" in order to secure they are latched while closed. The base of the fence is routinely inspected for gaps or escape routes and every measure is taken in order to make sure all dogs remain within the fenced in area. The space has a combination of open grass, wooded areas and even trails for dogs and their owners to explore while visiting my spot. If you walk around the perimeter five times; you walked about one mile! The humans may sit on the seating by the woods, the "ice cream bench" slider, the furniture on the deck or the benches around the fire pit. Bags and/or a a pooper scooper are provided for waste. We kindly ask our guests to treat our property with respect. Owners must remain on the premises with their dog(s) at all times. Fresh Water is provided for each visit; the bowl is cleaned and sanitized before each visit. Please adhere to your reserved time, as sometimes I have back-to-back bookings and have my own dogs I schedule accordingly. Thank you for visiting my private park! NOTE: If you see a time blocked and you "really" need that time; please feel free to message me. Sometimes, I have to block certain time slots because I cannot have a lot of guests during a designated time because of my work, etc. However, I am always willing to accommodate my guests, especially, my regular visitors! We are going to be a closed for a few days in mid-October in order to make some improvements to our spot, including - more defined trails and new benches for the fire pit!
