55We love coming to this sniffspot! It's such a beautiful piece of land and it's so nice just to be there for a little while. The fire ants are very active and there are lots of mounds so be advised. I also want to note that even a large dog can fit through the fence. My dog is 75lbs and her ball went out of the fence along the tree line. All of a sudden she was gone. I couldn't see her through the trees but I could hear her and I could hear cars slowing down as they could see her. It was terrifying. We've been here a number of times and she's never gone through the fence panels. So I had to coax her back through the trees and into the fence. I'm glad it wasn't worse but it could have been tragic.
55We had a great time! So clean and beautiful! The dogs are exhausted!
55It was a beautiful day. We had to cut our visit short as there was an insane amount of gnats. The last time I came here, I got one stuck in my nose and couldn't get it out for literally like 2 days. So when they were flying all around me and both of my dogs I just couldn't even enjoy it. My dogs were flicking their ears trying to keep the bugs out. Absolutely no fault of this owner I'm sure. Also, my new dog is a puppy so she was small enough to squeeze through the fence. Just be aware of that in case your dog is small and doesn't stick by you naturally.
55It was such a great first experience on Sniff Spot! Rosie LOVED seeing the goats!!
55Benny and I had a great time! Plenty of wide open space, the barn is nice and cool, and he appreciated his birthday gift 🩷 We’ll be back, with the whole gang next time!
45Great area. Secluded. Our dogs stay close but would be weary if you have a sneaky dog as the fence is not completely secure. We did have a run in with fire ants so please keep an eye on your pups. Other than that , water was easy to find and we loved how big the area was.
45This was a great Sniffspot and a great workout for the dogs! My only concern is the smaller dogs kept stepping in fire ant/ant mounds (which were everywhere) and one of them had a couple ant bites afterward. Overall a great experience though. The dogs really loved the goats as well!
55super great space! My dog loved it!
55Beautiful spot! We'll be back!

Description

Welcome to every dog’s dream! Our 2 acre pasture is fully fenced with livestock fencing and has plenty of space to roam. Our barn overhang offers shade and protection from the elements for mom and dad. You can also access electricity in this area. We offer a dog kiddie pool for guests to use at their convenience. It is stored inside the barn so feel free to place it in the grassy areas and fill it with the hose. If we have advanced notice, we can fill it up for you. Our goat pen is adjacent to the pasture, so guests can be entertained by their antics, but please be kind if your dog shows aggression towards them. You will park at the road entrance of the pasture and enter through the gate. Sunsets are amazing and we look forward to sharing them with you and your fur baby!

Host replied: I’m sorry that you had a negative experience. We try to avoid using chemicals/bug sprays other than ant killer for fire ants. I may have to look into a bug zapper or some device during the warm months. Thank you for the feedback.

This was a great Sniffspot and a great workout for the dogs! My only concern is the smaller dogs kept stepping in fire ant/ant mounds (which were everywhere) and one of them had a couple ant bites afterward. Overall a great experience though. The dogs really loved the goats as well!

Host replied: Thanks for bringing that to our attention. My husband had treated the ants on Monday, but either missed some or new ones popped up. Sorry that you had to experience that.

Zoomieland in Downtown Fountain Inn

Zoomieland offers more than an acre of flat, open, fenced-in doggie joy and is spacious enough to reach full-on sprint speeds to get those zoomies out. Located two blocks from the heart of downtown Fountain Inn and one mile off of 385, Zoomieland offers easy parking in the rear of the Younts Center, next to Excel Academy. Entrance is the small gate next to the parking lot. The field has some mature oak and pecan trees, providing shaded spots throughout the day and edible pecans in the fall. Feel free to move the chairs to where you and your pups will be happiest. If your dogs like to dig, please don't feel like you need to stop them. Let them dig up our property and not yours. Just some little warnings: There are some prickly-type plants in the vegetation - I recommend that people avoid those areas. And watch your step as the field has some uneven areas and some active ant mounds. After very heavy rain, for at least 24 hours, half the the field will be squishy, with standing water in one corner. The dogs don't mind but their humans may. Check with me and I can tell you about field conditions. In general, the field does not create muddy conditions but I provide different sizes of towels to help with any dirty paws. Also, I'm not a stickler for time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, then stay an extra 10 minutes. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late and would like to stay past the end of the reservation, check with me and I'll let you know if it's okay to stay any later. Please feel free to upload pictures of your pups on my Sniffspot listing! :) Zoomieland is home field of Deuce, Fountain Inn Police Department K-9 and Ember from the Fountain Inn Fire Department. We donate access to our field so that they can enjoy Zoomieland too!
