55Beautiful creek and water view. Would be best for water-loving dogs!
55My "city" dogs had a wonderful time in this little piece of heaven. It's a great location - convenient and easy to get to but once you're there, you feel like you're far removed from civilization. My dogs were thrilled with the all-you-can-sniff buffet and listening to the birds and sounds of nature. The host is wonderful and will be seeing more of us. Can't wait to see how beautiful this spot is in Spring and Fall.
55A lovely place to hang out for our dogs. Of course they went immediately in the water, the weather was gorgeous
55Very peaceful and quiet. The trail was well maintained and marked. Gus really enjoyed the time spent here.
55Just as described. My pup had a great time.
55Awesome spot. Pups ran and swam and had a blast. Definitely great if your dogs can be off leash!
55My pups and I had a great time checking out the river trail path! The banks to the creek are a little steep, making it difficult for my small dog to get in and out unassisted, but she still got to play. The creek was incredibly clear. We pretty much stayed on the river path, I wasn't sure if there were other areas to check out or not. They dogs definitely enjoyed the space to run and sniff.
55Wow!! My dog and I had such a great time here!! It was so nice to have my dog off leash and let him run and roam around! He was so nervous to get in the river at first and by the end I had to drag him out! I loved that down the path there was an opening with fire pit, chairs, and an opening to the river. The signs were also very helpful! This is on my way to my parents house and I can’t wait to come back! Thanks for sharing your space with us!
55We had a blast! Everything was easily marked and the River walk was welcomed by my pup! Overall a great time we will be back!
55Brigette was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The dogs absolutely loved playing in the river. Super peaceful and quiet! We definitely will be back

Wynshire Woods Dog Trail In Whitmore Lake

🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. Take a break at the top of the first hill and relax in the hammock, taking in the peaceful nature around you. This is a great spot to bring a snack or picnic! We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property. We ask that all dogs are leashed or have a training collar for recall, as wildlife and farm animals are abundant on our property. Dogs MUST be safe with free range chickens and ducks i.e. NOT chase/hurt them. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property.
