Activities: Walk, run, off road bike, yoga, cross skiing, snowshoe, agility, herding (bring your own sheep ), search, Frisbee, scent work, etc. Wildlife: Deer, many birds- hawks, vultures, turkeys, various song birds, rabbits, raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels. Access for with trucks, trailers, equipment, sheep, dogs, etc. 14’ gate and a 4’ gate walk-in. The entire 10+ acres (we used to have horses, cows and sheep) is fenced (4’ farm fence). For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! Winter: This Sniffspot will be open all winter. ***The snow isn’t always plowed immediately. We do our best. You may have to walk from the road (if the city also has plowed). Use your discretion. Be safe! ***There is a heated bucket for winter. Squirrels are often seen in the yard, and occasionally people (with and without dogs of their own) will pass by. Excellent space for fetch and running around!

Overall Site Description - Two separate (side-by-side) fully enclosed softball fields that also serve as a semi-private exercise park for dogs. The grassy outfield and secure fencing provide plenty of room for dogs to run and play, while owners can enjoy the open surroundings. With no permanent shade structures, visitors often bring their own chairs or canopies. To maintain the looking clean fields, please pick up dog waste, children play here too. Thank you!

Welcome! We are excited to share our yard with you and your dog! This is a 0.25 acre rectangle of flat land with lush cut grass. Bring your dog(s) to run, play or train. We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! ❄️ During the winter months, please plan to bring water for your dog. There will be a bowl available for use, but any water left out will just freeze 🥶

Please bring water. The spigot is CLOSED for winter. Our requests: 1) Street parking only. Please do not park in the driveway. 2) Pick up your dog's 💩. Pooper scooper and small trash can is provided 🚮 3) No digging anywhere, even if it appears to be bare or an available hole. 4) No smoking 🚭 Be sure to walk all the way to the back fence to see our Heritage "Grandmother" Oak Tree that's over 200 years old!
