We may not have clover 100% of the year but we are turning our yard into a local plant and wildlife sanctuary and cutting back on just grass. We currently still have a large grassy area in both shade and sun but plan to have more and more diverse plants as time goes on. we have a hose with a sprinkler attachment, a dog sized pool, sticks and balls for you to use, and a large double lot on the side of the house for your dog to have plenty of space to run and play. Our cancellation policy: if you get here and the weather is not perfect but it’s what was forecast, we do not refund your money. If there is a sudden storm or unpredicted downpour please cancel if you can before arriving. if it should start while you are here and you have to leave we will give you a refund if you did not get the major part of your visit. 

Poochie Garden is a sensory experience with plenty of shade and room to zoom! Warm-weather water features include a 2×3×1' pup pool for wading and splashing, plus a tiered ceramic fountain, both with solar-powered pumps. Turf includes bare dirt, cypress and cedar mulch, short grass, and large beds of tall ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, plus a sand digging garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Treat-tipping bottles, a rocker balance board, agility weaving-pole and jump-hurdle practice walk (for an intro, not for speed), a stump walk, a curated selection toys, and plenty of other sensory experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of marigolds, spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, lavender, thyme, oregano, phlox, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of water, chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Note that there are a few steps and slopes into and around the yard that may impact access for those with mobility challenges. 2 acre pond for dogs to train and swim. Partially fenced , but off a main road. Leashes not required but to do so is at your own risk. Bring your own chairs, water etc. please remove all trash you may have as no trash cans are available. You may park on the first part of the drive off to the side to allow for access for delivery’s etc. Please have fun and be respectful of our property and neighbors! We live on 9.5 acres of private property, located just 8 miles from Costco and the promenade shopping center. Luki's park is an all natural wooded area and has a creek that runs through the entire property, but depends on the recent rains. It is mostly flat ground but then transitions to hilly other side of the creek. The 5 approx acres will be designated for your pets and entry is marked by an orange traffic cone, through the open barbed wire fence. It will be on the left side of the street as you are headed west, approaching our property. See photo. You can drive in or park on the shoulder of the street and walk in. There is a table and 3 chairs for you to relax at while your dogs run and play, but our recent guests have enjoyed exploring the property also. The property line is fenced so please keep your dogs from crossing the fenced property line to not enter my neighbors property. Enjoy our great outdoors!

This place is special!! And jaw-dropping beautiful! Sparky, the stone mason who quarried, cut and stacked every rock on every trail within the campground, has created a wondrous place to come camp and explore. We are now restoring Sparky's original homestead -- the one room cabin (soon to be our new "romantic retreat"), outdoor kitchen and shower, a two-hole traditional Swedish utedass–or privy, and a chicken house. As to where to explore -- well everywhere. Let your dog run and stretch its legs or take a swim in the creek or sniff the many crevices and caves found on the property. This is the place.
