Description

We have more than 2 acres of fully-fenced in property that features a large lawn as well as ample "wooded" areas for your dog to run in and explore. There are also a handful of large boulders for your pup to jump on and off of.

Hazards

The property consists of a landscaped grass area surrounded by a more wooded area. The wooded area contains sticks, stumps, trees, leaves, shrubs, rocks and uneven ground. The grass area does include a depression lined with boulders surrounding two large oak trees. Dogs are welcome to jump in and out of this area. You & your dog are encouraged to explore all of these areas.

Please pick up all of your dog's waste and put in the bin provided. Please stay in the larger fenced in area to the back of the house. You can safely get as close to the house as you want without resident dogs being disturbed. Dogs are welcome to dig anywhere in the wooded area but please prevent them from digging in the large grass area.

Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    The spot was perfect! We drove from CT and it did not disappoint. Our dog Lou loves rocks and boulders and had the best time checking out the varying terrain. Our dog Margot is super reactive so it was lovely to be able to pull into their driveway, close the gate and then let the dogs off leash. It truly is dog paradise! We will come back soon. We truly appreciated you sharing your yard and being an amazing host 🫶 thanks so much!

    This spot was so awesome for our dog to enjoy. The area is about 2/3 woods and 1/3 yard. My dog loved running around the wooded area and sniffing everything. The host provided a bowl of water, a towel, some poo baggies, and there were a few toys around the property. Be aware there is deer poop on the property, if your dog tends to want to roll in or eat animal poop! Overall the area was secure, dynamic and so much fun.

    Host replied: So happy you had a fun time. We have a new family of bunnies living on the property and since the fence prevents deer from coming in I am guessing that's the poop you saw (and your dog snacked on!). We'll work on disposing of more of it! Hope to see you back.

    Wonderful fully fenced property with a lovely grassy space or woods and paths to explore. Plenty of rocks for climbing, sticks for fetching. Fencing was secure and the welcome table and sign were a sweet touch with a towel, water bowl, baggies, and guest WiFi info! We’ll be back!

    We loved the rocky terrain for Nash to jump up and down from! Little things like the towels to dry off and the firepit were great

    Indigo had a blast playing in the snow and exploring! There was a perfect balance of flat ground for fetch and interesting spots for exploring. The space was exactly as described. We will definitely come back!

Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh. We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck with patio furniture and an umbrella as well as a new pave stone patio with patio furniture. There are also dog toys. Additionally, there is a patio heater available for the cooler season (can be found under extras). We are open all winter and of it snows we try to have a safe path cleared and the patio shoveled. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Dog birthday parties or events are allowed! Just book the time slot for the proper number of dogs. We have plenty of parking and enough chairs for 10-12 people. OUR DOG WILL BE OUT OF SIGHT AND SHOULD NOT BE HEARD. MORE DETAILS BELOW :) We rarely see other dogs from our spot but occasionally there is a small dog that can be seen a couple houses down. If our dog is home he will be kept in the house and you shouldn’t see or hear him.
