Description

Enjoy time at Charlotte's Run, affectionately called the (Foster) Puppy Farm, where many of the dogs rescued by our 501(c)3 animal welfare nonprofit, Mr. Bones & Co., rehabilitate and decompress before finding forever homes. Booking this Sniffspot helps us save lives and continue our rescue work. Enjoy the wooded trails, gentle rolling fields, swimmable pond and Catskill Mountain views. We encourage and welcome reactive dogs who need the place to themselves, and their humans who love them. Our farm is a safe place for everybody, and every dog. 🌟 Please do your best to keep your dogs away from the white farmhouse on the hill. Our veggie garden and patio flowers and plants are up there. This is where our dogs live and some of our guest dogs like to mark our garden, and then our dogs leave messages back to them all over the veggies and plantings, so we are trying to curb this! 🙈 Guests are free to hang in the shaded space under the large deck of the big blue barn, on the blue stone patio where the chairs are. The hose for water and rinsing dogs off if they swim is there as well. There are some dog toys and balls there, which you are welcome to use. Enjoy your sniffing! We ask that guests not use prong collars, choke chains or e/shock collars while they are on our farm. Our organization promotes positive reinforcement, force free training and tools. Many people are not aware of the difference. We are always happy to share why these are aversive and offer other force free solutions to help you work with your dog, so please feel free to ask questions! :-)

This is a nice mowed space with some woods and a pond . You may see some wild animals such as deer, turkey, or fox . Please keep an eye on your pet near the boundary lines . Swimming is at your own risk and the edges may be muddy , there is no life guard . The boundary is up to the wall on the left willow tree straight ahead and pond on the right . There are benches for sitting . This is new for us and will have more amenities if this is something people and pets will want to come and enjoy . Be aware across the pond is a house that does have dogs and chickens, but do not come out to the yard on that side .

***STORM UPDATE 7/12/26**** Over 100 trees fell on 07/02/2026 during the Chatham storm. We will be working hard to clear the paths or make new ones. This may take awhile. No chainsaws will be operating when dogs are booked, but there may be a tractor dragging some trees around. Thank you for your patience. 💕🐾💕 Bottomless Smells. 100 acre farm. Lots of space for your doggos and you to roam. It is a rustic magical place. Parking is far from the street down a gravel driveway. Safe for your pup and you to get out of the car. You can park anywhere. If you feel comfortable you can drive down to the lower field to get even further away from the road. I live down the street while I am fixing up the old house. So, there maybe someone at work in the house. Once you park, the best walking is down to the creek. Go to the lower field and look for the opening in the woods. 150yards from field is the creek. On a hot day, wear good creek shoes and walk up and down creek. If you cross the creek there is a great trail that circles around to the Powerline. Warnings: 1. there are lots of deer! 2. There are old barns. Do Not enter any of the buildings! They are very dangerous!!!! I have rescued reactive dogs. I want to create a safe space for your dogs and you to enjoy this great property.
