Description

Come hang out and let your dogs run. Play in the pond, owners can relax in the rustic cabin or under the gazebo . Fully fenced 5 acres and another 5 acres of wooded trails to walk. Enjoy the picnic tables and have lunch on the park like setting.

This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water. The water in pond is clean and safe. Small amount of dye is used for vegetation control and small amount of Copper sulphate is used in spring to control algae . We are careful not to add too much of chemicals because we have a healthy fish population and dogs of are own. The pond is aerated with a large fountain providing Oxygen to the pond. With out treatment pond is not desirable for swimming. Great care is taking to keep pond safe and clean. Please do not let your dog swim if you are overly concerned about the water. As we cannot do a water test every time.

The lake is beyond the spot/property line. * Wildlife: deer and wild turkey are seen daily; you may also spot herons, raccoons, possums, squirrels, and songbirds. * Insects & plants: ticks and poison ivy may be present — please use normal outdoor precautions. * Parking: park near the barn, or by the carport in snowy conditions. Driveway and parking are gravel/dirt. * Water: a hose is available except during freezing months. * Guests must clean up after their dogs and stay within the backyard/play area for safety and comfort. 🔒 Security Cameras For safety, wildlife monitoring, and property protection, security cameras are located throughout Serendipity Woods, including the driveway, barn area, exterior of the house, and other outdoor points around the property. We also have indoor cameras inside our private residence, which are used for home security only and do not record or monitor any areas accessible to guests. Some cameras record both video and sound and may be triggered by motion activity. These are standard rural safety measures that help us stay aware of weather, wildlife, and property activity.
