Perfect spot for my dog! Even though it's right on a busy road I felt good about it because the yard is completely fenced in and secure.

This is exactly what my dogs needed! Plenty of space to run on gorgeous cushy grass. So many new sniffs to sniff! Secure fencing so I felt safe that they were safe to roam about. Joshua was more than accommodating. We will absolutely be back! (Just a heads up if your dog/s are small animal reactive. There are chickens & ducks in a pen directly opposite the front of the house. You may want to park away enough from that & let your dogs out on a side that puts the car between them & the birds. I would still recommend going, as this would be a perfect opportunity to work on that reactivity. The birds are safely & fully enclosed, but you will want to have a good handle on your dog & be prepared for that)

Great time for the dogs to get worn out! Joshua’s is a great spot for running and sniffing and all the dog things. Our second trip out, but we will be back for sure.

Great location. Our Rottie got tired out from just 20 mins of sniffing all the new smells. There was water available and nice cool grass and shade for a hot day. We will definitely be back.

Great spot! Fence was secure and lots of space for pups to run their crazies out! There are critters around - seen and heard and a very brave and friendly kitty that welcomed us! We Appreciate you letting us in your space! It made all the difference for my anxious pups while we are travelling!

This was our first time using a sniffspot with our reactive pup, Bobo. He loved it as did we! The only two things I would recommend are a small sign indicating the gate for sniffspot users (for a minute we thought the neighbors front yard was the area) and maybe a bucket for poop - there were a few poops in the yard but I would’ve happily cleaned them up for the next guest. All in all, it fit our needs and we would love to come back! I did feel sort of rude as a young man was doing chores like feeding poultry, etc and at one point came into the yard space - we shouted ‘he’s not friendly’ (our pup) as he is reactive with new people and especially children. But, we loved it and will be back!

Host replied: Thank you very much for the review. We have since put up a sign on our property, but will definitely put up a smaller sign to designate where the sniffspot area is. As for the boy and the poop, he is actually supposed to clean up all the poop before anyone comes for sniffspot, and has been told to stay out of tge backyard during sniffspot hours. We will remind him. Thank you for the recommendations, and we will make sure it doesn't happen on your next visit.

Fully fenced was a big win! I was originally worried about the cats lingering around but we didn’t see them at all. The dogs only made it about 20 minutes before they were absolutely worn out! There were plenty of sniffs and spots to pee! It was great! We will definitely be back.

Host replied: Very glad your dog enjoyed our yard! Feel free to come back anytime!

Completely fenced, had water out, it was nice.

Host replied: Glad your dog enjoyed it. Thank you for the 5-star review.

10/10 will be back here! I have a reactive dog (we’re in training) and this was the perfect trigger-free place where he could run around and sniff stuff and be a dog. There’s a huge grass area and plenty of room. There are shaded areas, water and toys provided. We love it here :)

Host replied: Thank you for the review. So glad we could provide a safe place for your dog to get some trigger free run time. Feel free to come back anytime.

Space was lovely and well kept. Josh was great to work with to make this a stress free visit for Liberty.

Scenic 6 acre+ open field to run, roam and play fetch

Welcome to our spot! Please read all of the description of property before booking. We are an open field (not a yard). We decided to open it up to the public for our love of dogs and desire to provide a sniff spot in the area. We are not a typical yard, we are not fenced and I am sure if dogs could rate us, we would be the best as we provide a wide open field (grass, hay, weeds, bumps, holes, etc) to roam and play. I stress this as I do not want anyone to be surprised. The location is easily viewed behind the church at Locust Grove and Amity if you want to check it out before booking. Water days are here from 6/14-6-18!!!! Sprinklers will be on in the field for all to enjoy. Some of my best moments are with my dog, Boone, playing in the sprinklers. He gets silly and super happy running in the sprinklers. I want to open up that experience to everyone. If your dog likes the water, you do not want to miss this experience. We will have it only a few weeks of the summer. 6+ acres of grass pasture to freely roam. Picnic table, ball launchers and beautiful views to enjoy. Easy parking at the church by the two green gates or you can now park under the trees on the property. The Picnic table to use as home base. At times, there are activities at the nearby church that are out of control and may have people, and dogs near the property. The field is large enough that you can avoid close proximity if you play in the middle. The field is a mix of grass, alfalfa and weeds. There is a chance that there will be fox tails, goat heads, cheat grass depending on location and time of year. I try to keep things cut but it’s easy to relocate to the middle of the field where it is flattest and mostly grass and hay. The corners seem to be the worst with weeds and foxtails. If your loved one needs a friend, Boone our family chocolate lab is a very playful and fun companion. Let me know your interest and he can join in on your visit. The field is an active grass hay field. It is not fenced but large enough to roam around and enjoy. Please note that it ia not fenced. I want to be transparent on this topic. It is fenced for large animals (cows) on three sides but not dogs. Play in the middle if that is a concern. In th summer, we will have water days with the sprinklers. The dogs will love it. DM me if you would like to get on the list. My name is Curtis. Reach out directly to 206-272-0667.
