Dogs of all sizes and ages welcome! Shaded with multiple trees and featuring partial privacy fencing, enjoy a low stimulus environment where you can train, relax, throw the ball, or simply let your dog explore the foliage and small lizards that scurry around. The neighbors have chickens that are partially visible but secured away from the space. There is a bucket of various toys, of various sizes, for throwing and playing tug. Feel free to use the space for scent work, training, games, group play, or just a simple rest stop to enjoy a nice breeze under the shade. Please message the host with any questions or recommendations to further improve the experience. The space is divided into two by a large livestock gate, with the smaller space being for personal use and off limits to guests. There are large working breed dogs on the property but they will be inside during your stay. The small gate entry to the left of the house is for guest use and is unlocked. I may not be present for your visit but am happy to answer any questions through messages. Drinks and snacks for dog parents can be made available up on request, and treats for pups as well. Please park in the grass on the right side of the home (as this is easier than the left, directly in front of the gate entrance) and walk to the entrance on the left.

Welcome to my spot!! Quick housekeeping items: 1. Gate over driveway, if closed, can be opened manually. If already opened, just drive through and close it behind you to secure the space for your dog to enjoy his run. When you leave, you don't need to close the gate if you found it opened when you come in. 2. Please don't enter the vinyl fence areas directly in the front and back of the house. 3. Spot distractions: 3A) My northwest back neighbor has little dogs that like to engage in fence fighting. I recommend you stay closer to the front of the lot because my neighbor in the back on the northwest side (on the far left if you're facing the house) has 3 little dogs who love to do fence fighting. I have put an additional fence and pallets to block them from being able to stick their noses through the fence. 3B) Poultry in my backyard - I have a few ducks and chickens behind my vinyl fenced backyard which is not part of the sniffspot, but can be seen. The ducks quack sometimes. The chickens cluck. 4. Also, please try not to be too close to the fence lines as there are shallow holes from dug up Vibernum bushes that used to grow in front of the fence. 5. For dog waste, I have a dog waste collection bag (an empty dog food bag) by the trash can area in front of the garage. Please deposit your dog waste bags in here. If you don't see one, please feel free to leave the bags on the concrete pad by the trash can area. I'll put it in the dog waste collection bag when I see it. If you let me know you leave the bags on the concrete pad, I will be sure to take care of them quickly. Thank you! 6. If you need water for your dog(s), there is a faucet by the back building. 7. I recommend wearing waterproof boots as grass can be wet from morning dews. 8. You might want to bring some mosquito repellant as there can be mosquitoes in the yard. 9. After heavy rain, the back part of the property and the right corner in the back area will have puddles and grounds can be muddy. If you want to avoid these spots, try to stay in the front part of the property on the right side when facing the house. The left side next to the mound can also gather some water puddles. Come allow your dog to run on my five acre property! The front two acres are fenced in, though the fence is not solid. The back three acres feature one wooded acre and two acres of pastureland. The property is surrounded on two sides by wooded forest, which provides a relaxing and beautiful view. Come breathe some fresh air and stretch your legs for yourself and your dog! A hose/spigot is available for water for your dog, and there are chairs under the covered front porch you are welcome to sit upon. Enjoy the beautiful countryside!

It’s a space we use for our yard and love having our children play in it. We want to make it available for others to enjoy as well. Depending on when you come, the grass may be longer or shorter but it does get cut every two weeks. We have hose access and outlet access, tons of shade and if we are home when you arrive, we’ll DEFINITELY provide ice cold water for humans 🤗
