I’m just a husky dog mom with a big fenced in backyard, that barely gets used. The backyard is enclosed by an 8-ft wooden fence, and blanketed in soft green grass, with several soft sand spots that dogs love to roll around in. Chairs/bench-swing and shade for the “hoomans” are made available for use on my back porch. Bottled water is available for purchase, as well as healthy dog treats. Smoking on the porch is allowed, and there is an ashtray available. There’s also a fire pit in the middle of the yard, that can be made available upon request as well. My husky has grown bored of playing by himself in the yard, so he is rarely back there. Instead, he opts to goto doggy daycare at his favorite grooming place, where he can play with other large dogs like himself. When you rent this backyard, there will be a doggy fountain watermat and wading pool for your dog to use as well, to enhance their playtime fun and cool off from the heat. Towels for drying can be provided free upon request. There’s plenty of seating in the shady porch for the humans to use while their pooch plays in the fountain or pool, and there is also a small variety of dog toys for guests to use during their visit. Cold bottled water, treats and even snacks can be provided for a small fee. For those that bring their own drinks/snacks, there is a small cooler that is available for use during the visit to keep the drinks/snacks cold. And if your dog is friendly with other dogs, and you want them to have a play buddy…. I am more than happy to allow my socialized/friendly 11-yr old puffy dog, Ghost, out to play along side yours. But that is just an open offer for a playbuddy, should you rent this space. If not, that’s perfectly fine also. After all, if you rent it, it’s yours for the timeframe purchased, for you and your dog. My boy Ghost is perfectly fine staying indoors, where it’s cool and has his little brother to pick on, while you and your pup are out in the yard. Poo pick-up is not necessary at this sniffspot space, but gloves/poo bags are readily available should you choose to pick up after your pup, so that they don’t run through it and track it into your vehicle. I take care of cleaning the yard before/after each booking, This way, no pup can get hookworms (or worse) from a visit to our yard. If you’re in the area, or just passing through, and need a private little place to let your dog run, play or train, we’d be happy to to host you and your dog(s). I will try to accommodate any special needs/requests, as long as I am given an appropriate amount to time to fulfill the request/need before your arrival.
