Location

Description

We live on 9.5 acres of private property, located just 8 miles from Costco and the promenade shopping center. Luki's park is an all natural wooded area and has a creek that runs through the entire property, but depends on the recent rains. It is mostly flat ground but then transitions to hilly other side of the creek. The 5 approx acres will be designated for your pets and entry is marked by an orange traffic cone, through the open barbed wire fence. It will be on the left side of the street as you are headed west, approaching our property. See photo. You can drive in or park on the shoulder of the street and walk in. There is a table and 3 chairs for you to relax at while your dogs run and play, but our recent guests have enjoyed exploring the property also. The property line is fenced so please keep your dogs from crossing the fenced property line to not enter my neighbors property. Enjoy our great outdoors!

Gorgeous property! Thanks so much for sharing your space with dogs! Having a reactive dog, it was really nice to enjoy time in nature without the chance of encountering other dogs or humans for a change. Our only confusions resulted from slight variations from listed access instructions and amenities. We will definitely return when temps are cooler, ticks are gone for the year, and in hopes of enjoying the creek running. Thanks again!

Host replied: Hi Gwen, very glad you guys enjoyed our property! Could you describe the confusion on the listed amenities and entry point? I am going to update some pics since everything is green now but would appreciate your feedback. Thanks

It was a very nice area for my dog to run, even in the rain. We will go back.

Host replied: Glad you guys enjoyed and please come back.

Exactly as advertised. If your pups like water...this creek is perfect with plenty of space to run!

Our pup had so much fun playing here! There’s a little creek that runs through the property. So if your pup loves the water like our does, they’re in for a treat!

Great spot for the dogs to really run and play, they had so much fun. Host was very friendly and kind even when my dogs jumped on him (so sorry about that!).

Host replied: It was okay, they are good dogs! Have they asked you to come back yet?😁

This place is amazing. Absolutely gorgeous. And just an all around dog's dream spot. Beautiful little creek running thru the property with little waterfalls. Areas with tall grass, huge boulders and rocks, fallen trees, tons of homes for little critters for the dogs to sniff out. I really can't say enough good things about this place. It was pure magic.

Host replied: We are so glad you enjoyed your visit and hope miss Penny did also! You guys were great guests. Be sure to come back and see the spring growth, even more doggy adventures with frogs, turtles, possibly chipmunks, lizards and such.

Our three dogs (all about 60lbs each) really enjoyed visiting Luki’s Private dog park!! The property is the host’s residence and is wooded but the grounds are well cared for so no thick brush to deal with. Our dogs had tons of room to run, a small creek to play in, and plenty of new smells to enjoy. Perhaps due to seasonal amounts of leaves on the ground but despite having a creek the property was not muddy like I feared. When we visited the hosts were not home but gave us instructions to simply push open the gate to the driveway and let ourselves in, which worked great. The property is enclosed by barbed wire fence on three sides and a wooden fence in the front. Although they could have fit through the front fence, our dogs were too busy having fun to tempt a break for it. This was our first use of Sniffspot, thankfully it was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to treat our dogs again! Thanks for opening your property to some bored city dogs haha!

Host replied: We are glad they enjoyed it! There is nothing quite like a happy dog. Came back anytime!

Meet your host

Hello pet parents! I am Dustin Wayne and my wife is Linrose. I am semi retired from the aircraft industry of nearly 24 years. My wife is employed with Dillard's corporation. We are big dog lovers and our Luki (chinese pug of nearly 16.5 yrs) just passed last June. He was our baby and we miss him everyday! We loved him so much that we wanted him to be with us wherever we went, so we know the pleasures of companionship and watching them run and play! Here, you can do that with them and safely!
