Poochie Garden: Little Rock's Sensory & Enrichment Garden - Fully Lit & Open Late

Poochie Garden is a sensory experience with plenty of shade and room to zoom! Warm-weather water features include a 2×3×1' pup pool for wading and splashing, plus a tiered ceramic fountain, both with solar-powered pumps. Turf includes bare dirt, cypress and cedar mulch, short grass, and large beds of tall ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, plus a sand digging garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Treat-tipping bottles, a rocker balance board, agility weaving-pole and jump-hurdle practice walk (for an intro, not for speed), a stump walk, a curated selection of toys, and plenty of other sensory experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of marigolds, spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, lavender, thyme, oregano, phlox, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of water, chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Note that there are a few steps and slopes into and around the yard that may impact access for those with mobility challenges and limitations. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. Adorable space! My dog is very reactive to other dogs and though there was a neighbor dog nearby, he is so calm and the fence is so tall that even my dog enjoyed herself. We’ll be back

This place was wonderful! The property is secure with all kinds of activities, for your pooch and yourself. The host definitely loves doggos and has thought of EVERYTHING when she created this beautiful space! ❤️❤️❤️ She even has photo op spots for pictures! I would have loved to have taken some pics, but being a beagle, all he cares about are the scents 😂 Thank you Gwen! Rhett loved to sniff and sure got a bunch of new ones today!

It was a great experience! Gwen has put so much time & effort into making this a fun, safe space for all the pups who visit. A beautiful garden for us to relax in as well as to play with our dog. Fun to watch him explore, too. Thank you, Gwen!

This spot is amazing! Our two beagle mixes loved taking in all the sights and smells. They were fascinated by all the plants. By the time we left, they were so tired that they snoozed the whole ride home. There were plenty of fun activities, including puzzles and an agility walk, which we’ll have to do next time when we can stay longer. We will be back for sure!

Location was easy to find. Lucy met us and was super friendly, had treats which dogs loved. Lots of room for dogs to chase each other and to fetch the ball. They loved sniffing around the big yard. Chairs available so I could relax in the shade. There was a nice breeze. Dogs were intrigued by the pool but didn’t get in. Will definitely be back!

This is a great spot for dogs! It's conveniently located downtown and is completely fenced in. I appreciated that there's a water hose, a wading pool and doggie treats are available. My dog doesn't always play well with others, so I love having a place where she can run, play and sniff around and not be concerned about other dogs. I will definitely take her again in the future!

Peaceful yard with a nice sized doggie pool. My pup immediately jumped in and I knew it would be a good hour from there. Loved the banana treats and the shaded patio table. Plenty of tennis balls and sticks!!! I forgot his favorite toy, so we will be back to enjoy again.

The dogs and I had a fabulous time at Lucy’s Clover Patch! They first fell in love with Lucy, then Howard played ball nonStop! The area is perfect for a ball lover! The dogs also enjoyed the hose and the pool! Connie relished the smells. It is quiet and very safe…no other dogs around. We had a blast and cannot wait to go back! Howard and Connie are sound asleep now- Perfect! Thank-you, Lucy!

Back to the Clover Patch for another fun, happy afternoon! Lucy’s yard is perfect for using the Chuck It ball thrower. We played ball the entire time and also took advantage of the exciting snifs! Lucy is a wonderful hostess and we look forward to our next visit. Thanks so much.
