55We stayed in the front yard and enjoyed our time. It had rained before so it was a little muddy but my dogs loved the lake.
55Great spot for dogs to stretch their legs. Thank you for your hospitality!
55Robin was kind enough to greet me and show me around when I booked last minute! We had so much fun and it was a good experience for my pup to be socialized by seeing other farm animals.
55Lovely spot for a sniffari! Robin was very nice and helpful too :)
55The pups had a great time here! Lots of room to run and beautiful land.
55We had such a fun time on the trails. Thanks for your hospitality! :)
55Definitely an adventure haha nice and friendly people! There is so much space to run around. As soon as we hit the road, by dog was asleep. She loved it here!
55Super fun!! Super Muddy!! Me and my friends dogs love coming here there is lots of land to run around and a creek for swimming. Be ready to walk and hike in slippery conditions do to wetlands
55Had a great time today with my two dogs. There was plenty of land and a creek for them to play in. The nearby river had recently flooded, which provided the dogs with so many spots in and around the piled up logs and debris to investigate. I loved watching my dogs being dogs!
55Our pups had an excellent time exploring Robin’s home. So much space for sniffing on the trails through the woods. We saw two pigs and a goat in a fenced area at the trailhead, and Robin’s pups were in a kennel on the other side of the yard. Thank you for allowing us to visit, Robin! We hope to come back soon.

Description

Private acreage with rolling hills and a creek that runs through it. Acreage is wooded however there are some trails if you don't like going off the beaten path. Trails are located behind the house. We ask that our guests stay on the trail on the south side due to it being hunting season and our neighbor hunts. There are no trespassing signs posted so please look for these when back there. We do not do maintenance on the property during the winter. The property is mostly wooded so it will be like taking a hike in the mountains. On the path leading to the creek please be careful there is a drop off just before you get to the creek. If you follow the creek going north you will come to a culvert, there you can cross and explore the other 4 acres. You may see some deer or turkey. We want our guests to enjoy what we have to offer and are open for any suggestions to improve. Happy hiking. :)

Where Dogs can be Dogs

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂
