Where Dogs can be Dogs

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Let Your Pups Run & Splash! Pool Is Now OPEN!

Come and enjoy our large yard and nice swimming pool for you and your pups. The swimming pool has an 5ft deep “shallow” area and an 8ft deep “deep end” area. There are two access points, a ladder and then steps that would be easy for your pups to use. The pool is along two different grass areas that is fully fenced in for your dogs to play. There is a table and chairs, with an umbrella located at the pool. Also, an enclosed porch with furniture, a radio, towels and plenty of dogs toys. In the fenced in area you will see various plants, flowers, trees, rocky areas, and also dirt areas where my own puppy loves to dig. If you exit throughout the two gate doors next to the pool, there is a larger yard for even more running room. It is unfenced, so please have good recall with your dogs or a long leash! There are trees, plants, a pond and a building in this outer portion. Our next door neighbors, and neighbor behind doesn’t have any pets that would be a distraction. - I have three extras that you can add which would be a cooler full of snacks for you and your pets and also bath time if your pup needs to be squeaky clean! And we’ll pick up your pets poop too if you add this extra. *There are rubber chuck-it toys that are made to float so please only use these in the pool. *Maximum of 6 pets at a time, 2 people per pet in the pool. * If you are interested in having a pup party or have any questions about the number of pets/people, please send me a message! *Swimming pool is OPEN from June-September! - Pool was opened on 6/2. - The back porch was freshly cleaned on 5/29 and is nice and reorganized for you and your pups! Can’t wait to see you soon!

Love the new signs, poop bags, and towels available. Our pups always have a wonderful time here. They don’t even want to do agility because there’s so many trails and water spots to explore 🤣

We had an amazing time at this spot. It was our first time and Laura came out and greeted me and showed me around for a minute. There are toys, poop bag area, resting spots, and the trails are marked. The best part was the creek that goes through the property. Can’t wait to go back!

Our dogs had a great time. There is a large area for running as well as nice trails to walk. The dogs loved running in and out of the pond shaking off by us until we were as wet as they were. Seeing them run free in a safe, fenced in area was a fabulous way to start the day. We will definitely be back!

This place is everything I’ve been searching for. I brought my husky Eli and my mom’s dog and they ran around nonstop for 1.5 hours. Eli loved swimming in the creek that runs through the property. It was a beautiful sunny day and there is plenty of shady spots for the pups to rest, drink fresh water and then take off running again. There is a beautiful large grassy flat area to throw the ball and trails to explore. The pups had an absolute blast and we will definitely be back soon.

We had an amazing time at Laura and Dwayne's Sniff Spot. They met us at the entrance to their property to let us know what to expect, which we really appreciated. They warned us about a spot in the fence where beavers chewed (still secure, just a little loose at the bottom) and where there were puddles. The property has wide open flat areas, paths going through woods, and two creeks running through. Our dogs had an absolute blast and left tired and muddy. We will be back!

Excellent experience. My dogs were living their best lives in a safe environment. We can’t wait to return, as there are so many trails to explore and places to sniff. Securely fenced all around. Wear shoes you won’t mind getting muddy and bring towels for your pups. They will likely need a bath after having so much fun! We bought a membership so we can come back.

This was our first time using Sniffspot and Laura's property was amazing! Clear directions and our pup had the best time. There's a large area of cleared space to play fetch as well as lovely wooded trails for us all to wander. Agility course looks amazing, we'd love to find a class so we can explore that area in future!
